I like Candace, and I think she is really cute.
Not sure I agree with her here or what she is really trying to say in 18 minutes.

I know there is a lot of evidence yet to be seen or known, but from what we have seen it’s horrible. The fact they have been charged (and the charge against Chauvin upgraded) suggest there was no cause to restrain him the manner in which they did. Even if he was resisting, even if he was high on PCP, to sit on his chest with a knee in the carotid artery wouldn’t seem to be medically prudent. It is self-evident that this would restrict oxygen intake and flow of blood to the brain.

And worse of all, when they checked and discovered he had no pulse, they not only did not try to revive him - they continued to sit on him for several more minutes!

The fact that Chauvin very likely knew Floyd from working at the same club increases suspicion and leaves open the possibility of an intentional homicide. I’m not saying it was, just that it is possible. This was not an encounter between a random man alleged to commit a crime and a random cop; it was a between a cop and a man that cop worked with at a second job - at a nightclub where the cop moonlit for 17 consecutive years. The possibility of some kind of history or beef between these two men or even a secret that Floyd’s arrest might have implicated Chauvin is out there to be investigated.

I don’t know if that makes him a martyr, or whatever. But from what I have seen what they did was morally reprehensible and seemingly, according to the prosecutors, criminal behavior. Horrible to watch. And the people are right to protest; the people really shouldn’t have to protest to demand decency from the police. It doesn’t matter that he’s served 5 terms in prison. Once he was in their custody they had a legal and moral duty to protect him. They failed.

Floyd was convicted of armed robbery in 2005 for a house invasion where he was searching for drugs.

He did several other prison sentences for drug convictions.

He was on Fentanyl and Meth at the time of this incident.

Fentanyl is usually taken with Heroin..

Fentanyl depresses the heart and breathing.

Meth creates paranoia.

Gorge Floyd was 6 ft 6 in and over 250 lbs.

The Hennipen County coroner ruled he died of a heart attack and not asphyxiation.

I certainly don’t support those who support this guy while they attack, loot and burn America over this loser. And yes, he was a loser. The cop effed up due to the duration of the knee to the neck, but this guy was a typical loser which cops have to deal with daily.

Floyd had multiple natural diseases. Floyd was shown to have severe multifocal arteriosclerosis heart disease as well as hypertensive heart disease.

A postmortem nasal swab was taken, which confirmed that Floyd was positive for SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19. It is noted that Floyd was known to be positive for COVID-19 on April 3. The postmortem positivity likely reflects asymptomatic but persistent PCR positivity from previous infection, the report said.

Floyd’s toxicology report showed that he had fentanyl and methamphetamine in his system when he died.

All people need to do is to do a search for autopsy on FR and they will see that Floyd died of natural causes.

Being drugged with meth and netynal (spelling) didn’t help his survival rate either.

I watched her video and I think she was courageous for being honest and it was true what she said.
I found it funny at the end when she was talking about some very smart black people who are called coons and uncle toms like Ben Carson a brain surgeon and “what a loser he is” and it is true that is how he is viewed by some in the black community which is ridiculous. I agree with her video.

the only reason the Floyd situation concerns is for the same reason other police neglect that led to death concerns me.

What’s to care about? I’m sorry he was killed by the police, but let’s face it, he wasn’t exactly the sort of person who was going to win any good citizenship awards; at worst he was a criminal thug and at best a shiftless ne’er-do-well. And I cringe when I hear public jackasses talking about “honoring” his memory.

George Floyd is not a martyr. He was a troubled man living a broken life, and he had many, many run-ins with police. If he hadn’t been killed by four policemen, he probably would have died early from drugs, alcohol, serious medical problems, and being part of the dangerous world of drug dealers. He made many, many bad choices in his life.

Nonetheless, he is dead because four policemen asphyxiated him, and he didn’t deserve to die that way. The policemen were fired immediately and all four will be charged with crimes. These policemen also made very bad choices, especially the cop who put his knee on George Floyd’s neck for NINE minutes.

I’ve been feeling really guilty about strongly disliking the actions of George Floyd. I.e. stealing cigarettes, being high on meth and fentanyl.
Just think, if he hadn’t purchased the cigarettes with a counterfeit 20 dollar bill, we would not be experiencing such insanity.
