I’ve been feeling really guilty about strongly disliking the actions of George Floyd. I.e. stealing cigarettes, being high on meth and fentanyl.
Just think, if he hadn’t purchased the cigarettes with a counterfeit 20 dollar bill, we would not be experiencing such insanity.

We would, though. They have been waiting for the next unarmed black man to be killed by the police. They don’t really care about George Floyd - they just needed someone with the right skin color to come along to be the victim.

And if cigarettes cost what they should, without onerous nanny state taxes, he would have been able to buy a pack without having to resort to counterfeit money. I think it really is that factoid that pushes this into peak absurdity territory for me.
