In downtown Chicago, people crawled through the partially shattered exterior window of a Nike store and ran out carrying brightly colored athletic gear and sneakers.
On Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles, they ignited garbage cans and broke locks on luxury stores, sweeping up armfuls of designer handbags and jeans.
And as night fell on Minneapolis, the heart of widening protests set off by the death of an African-American man in police custody there, business owners stood outside their doors and pleaded with agitators to spare the enterprises that many said they had spent their life savings to build.
I was outside saying, Please, I dont have insurance! said Hussein Aloshani, an immigrant from Iraq, waving his arms in frustration as he recounted the scene Friday night outside the deli his family owns.
Businesses across the country suffered destruction over the weekend as protesters unleashed their anger over the death of George Floyd on commercial enterprises from the offices of major multinational corporations and banks to family-owned restaurants and bars.
In some places, demonstrators scrawled graffiti on storefronts decrying police brutality against African-Americans, or echoing some of Mr. Floyds final words: I cant breathe.
In others, they hurled crowbars and hammers at windows, and used gasoline to burn buildings to the ground.
Public officials said they were investigating whether political agitators posing as protesters may have led some of the looting. In some cities, peaceful protesters marching against police violence were outnumbered by others, such as white anarchists, who seemed more bent on destruction than messaging.

Oh, and I took no offense - I was more replying to the guy classifying everyone there as Korean. :)
: )
[5-10 years from now some liberal politician will be whining about food deserts in these areas.]
I think it might be time to retire the brave Korean memes now. It’s 2020 and they would be killed by police snipers instantly in the world we now inhabit.
There are plenty of cities that never recovered from the riots in the 1960s, especially in the Northeast.
It would be interesting to start a website like Deadmall.com that highlights the property lots in these cities which have had no taxes paid on them since then. The ongoing dollar value in wasted tax opportunities (in addition to the lost employment and GDP opportunities) needs to be attached to these Democrat politicians forever.
No Bailouts for Democrat States!
Ig sign..
Yes, you won’t breathe here...
It would be a shame if they burned down the New York Slimes.....not!
Last year on Father’s Day I was at the mall with friends and we decided to go to the food court.
Many families there. ALL glued to their cell phone!!
Growing up in the 60’s and 70’s, you came home from school, did your homework, ate a family dinner (And if was liver, you flicked it off your plate when your parents weren’t watching and the dog would eat it) and spent the evening sitting with your parents watching TV shows like “The Dick Van Dyke Show” and “F Troop” .
Summers you spent all day playing with the kids in the neighborhood. (climbing tree’s, riding bikes, snake hunting, playing “Man From U.N.C.L.E,” were considered cool back then)
We have replaced social interaction with social media. Social interaction is where you learn compassion, empathy and kindness.
This will not end well.
It should be.....
*You loot, we shoot* and aim at them.
good summary
yup

Blue American being murdered by Blue Americans!
The business owners will reach the end of their rope. President Trump was right when he said, When the looting starts, the shooting starts.
I was being a bit facetious there, but I do wonder if any business must have insurance in order to open.
The media knows this they’re sitting on it.
Yes, a business owner should say, “I don’t have any(more) insurance but I have this - show gun/rifle/shotgun and say “I know how to use it. I have before. My way or the highway.”
