A new Morning Consult poll shows Senator Elizabeth Warren would help Joe Biden’s campaign for president more than any other potential vice-presidential candidate.
Part of the reason for Warren’s strength is certainly her superior name recognition compared to some of the other candidates. All the Democrats who are pleading with Biden to choose a black female candidate to run with him might be wrong. Warren scores well with blacks and Hispanics, and those under 45.
According to the May 22-26 survey, 26 percent of registered voters said placing her on the ticket would make them more likely to vote for Biden, while 23 percent said it would make them less likely to back him. Her positive impact on Biden increased among voters under the age of 45, who view Warren in a more favorable light than they do Biden, as well as black and Hispanic voters.
Warren would obviously solve a couple of problems for Biden who is weak with liberals and the Bernie Sanders/AOC socialist wing of the party. And Warren would be equally strong with blacks and Hispanics as Senator Kamala Harris.
The poll found other high-profile potential picks such as California Sen. Kamala Harris, Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar and Georgia’s Stacey Abrams would have a similarly marginal impact on the overall electorate. However, Harris, who would make 22 percent of the electorate more likely to vote for Biden, roughly matches Warren’s power with key groups such as voters under the age of 45 and voters in America’s suburbs.

Morning Consult should be investigated for this unreported in-kind contribution to the Trump campaign.
I don’t think the big donners would be happy with this choice given the likelihood of Joe not finishing his term.

At this point, putting her on the ticket is their best chance to get a women president in the next 4 years. They have to bet that, if elected, SloJoe will not make it through 4 years for many reasons.
Warren couldn’t even win her own state primary plus Wall Street threatened to dump the Democrats if she was their nominee. Most folks can figure out that whomever Joe chooses will be the eventual top of their ticket once he is forced out.
However, the dems believe that the suburban white woman who does not like Trump is the sub-group that they can't lose.

Warren’s 70 and Biden’s 77. They aren’t going to run a ticket that old.

1. A very large array of questions were posed about topics far beyond the Biden VP issue. I can’t imagine anyone taking the time to go through all this. So this is the results of people who “had something to say” — or maybe with self-quarantining people had nought to do.In 385 pages, the poll report never says who commissioned and funded it.
2. Because of the size, this took a LOT of time to generate and cost a lot. Yet with 385 pages, the survey report does not reveal anything about who commissioned or paid for it.
3. Registered voters, not even likely voters.
4. No explanation of weighting by state — and that matters a lot in a poll about VP choices. Any poll that shows a Dem ahead by x to y percent will produce flawed results, because Dems will “overvote” in CA and NY by millions, with no impact on the electoral college results.
