On Monday night, Minneapolis police officers murdered a man named George Floyd.
And, yes, they murdered him. Some may object to the characterization given the blunt, hard candor of the term, but theres no other way that any fair-minded person can view the video of a police officer consistently and persistently burying his knee into the neck of a man who eventually died due to the restriction of oxygen resulting from the placement of that knee onto his neck.
The Minnesota Vikings have issued a statement regarding the murder of George Floyd.
No, it’s a reflection from that police vehicle’s flashing lights.
The video of the murder, in public, before numerous witnesses, ARE FACTS.
But you posture and preen and pretend they don't exist.
This murder by the ex-policemen is the very definition of what the Constitution was supposed to secure us against.
FR would be far better if you were banned.
The ex-cops' clothes are not disheveled nor their hear.
None of them unsheathed their service firearms nor tasers nor nightsticks.
None are breathing heavily.
And the murderer put his hands in his pocket while asphyxiating the victim.
One does not put their hands in their pockets if one is fearing or anticipating a violent attack.
The Vikings?
Should we ask the Celts and the Normans what they think about it?
How about the Dodgers?
“The black/white thing is a subset.”
True. There are several fault lines that are not good for peaceful coexistence.
Race is definitely one. Religion is another, somewhat related is culture (values), ethnicity not as much if they share values.
The fault line in Yugoslavia was mostly religion.
In the case of blacks vs white, (or black vs asians for that matter), the big fly in the ointment is the disparity in AVERAGE IQ.
It is my firm belief that two groups of people with significantly different AVERAGE IQ (About 1 standard deviation), AND whose members can be easily identified as belonging to one or the other group, will never be able to peacefully coexist together. It’s a sad reality, but it is a reality nonetheless.

I cannot stress enough....YOU don’t know what happened. You cannot see all that happened or was happening, Spoken and not. You weren’t there.... and if a few videos could tell all they’d be no reason for our courts or investigations.
Why? Everyone should be condemning this including the local hardware store and the McDonalds. WTF is wrong with you?
Why? Because of the biased and disproportionate reporting on this by the agenda-driven, leftist-leaning media.
If the media would give equal time to all the Black-on-White violence, and report fairly on it, then, perhaps...
And even then, I don't need to know (read: have thrust down my throat) the moral stance that my local mini-mart takes on every goddamn political issue under the sun.
Regards,
I care that an unarmed, handcuffed man, lying in the street, was asphyxiated by a government actor by kneeling on his neck, in public, in front of multiple witnesses, and while being videoed.
The Constitution is supposed to guarantee our freedom from such tyranny.
And FR seems to be full of JBT worshippers or people so jaded by false accusations of racism, that they fail to see policemen calmly and cooly killing a man, in a way the government wouldn't let the Army do to a captured terrorist, or the prosecutors do to a convicted murderer; all over a non-violent crime of a forged check for $20.
I literally cannot comprehend how any US citizen can shrug this off.
(What happens for example if President Trump were to lose via voter fraud /mail-in ballots and the hard left assumes power?)
An uncomfortable truth!
Regards,
I know that if anyone but a policeman were caught on film doing the exact same thing in public, they’d already be incarcerated without the possibility of parole, based on only the videos, and wishful thinking about past rap sheets or drug use be damned.
.....”theres no evidence anywhere in the world with a sizable population of both races where whites and blacks peacefully coexist together”.........
God knew what He was doing when he placed people with their own kind.
And I know that police officers will arrest you for forgery and that you take your life in your hands when you resist.
Either that cop is massively stupid or he killed that guy intentionally. Does this ass know absolutely anything about human physiology? That any pressure on the neck can kill? Another cop who killed and of course like all the others, in a democrat run city which suggests to me the hiring standards are extremely sub par to hire such a jack ass like this.
“I don’t give a flying leap about the racial angle, except insofar as the press and Dems will use it to attack President Trump.”
And that is exactly how this is going to be played. You really think the media, the RATS and the SJW burning up Minneapolis really care that much about the guy that got killed? They just want to use the episode to tar and feather whites, conservatives and especially Trump.
Yes the cop went way overboard using excessive force and should be punished. And I’m not a knee jerk supporter of cops. They are given a lot of power and I wouldn’t be surprised if a good portion of them have a sadist tendency. What normal person would want that job?
> I cannot stress enough....YOU dont know what happened. <
Caww, you do make a fair point. And one should wait for all the facts to come in...if you are on a jury.
But this is a discussion board. I see no reason for anyone not to express an opinion, if that opinion is based on what is known at that point. I saw the video, and I saw the still photos. I am 99% sure that cop killed that man.
What about that last 1%? Maybe the victim died of a heroin overdose just as the cop put his knee on the mans neck. Its possible. Only 1% possible. So yeah, Im comfortable saying - at this point - that the cop is a murderer.
Consider this as well. If we waited for every last fact to come in on every last issue, thered be no discussion here at all. Wed all be waiting. So instead Ill go with the preponderance of the evidence route.
As they say, your mileage may vary.
And the murderer put his hands in his pocket while asphyxiating the victim.
Not interested in your feud with caww, but fyi, the cop did not have his hands in his pocket... he had on black gloves that blended into his dark pants in the video.
No time now, so I'll provisionally concede that point--it's 1:30 AM local time and I ought to go to bed.
