Deciphering Joe Biden's confusing comments about Michael Flynn
CNN ^ | May 23, 2020 | Analysis by Marshall Cohen and Holmes Lybrand

Former Vice President Joe Biden is facing new questions about his role in the Russia investigation, and even though there is essentially no evidence of his wrongdoing, his seemingly contradictory comments have muddied the waters and prolonged the conversation.

In recent weeks, President Donald Trump has  injected a heavy dose of conspiracy theories into the 2020 campaign by linking Biden to his claims of a "deep state" plot against his presidency.

There are literally reams of records -- like court filings and sworn testimony -- that shed light on the complicated backstory. Here's a breakdown of Trump's far-fetched accusations, Biden's wobbly responses to basic questions, and the facts you need to know.

Why did they feel the need to say “essentially?”

Because of the other Dem talking point on Biden unmasking Flynn: “This is a very routine practice — it is done by officials authorized to view these details and requests have ramped up in the Trump administration. “

Apple is releasing a a new App called the Jjoe Biden text converter. You enter perfectly cogent, grammatical English and push the convert button and it gives you the Joe Biden version.

This is a tremendous help to Biden campaignworkers as they learn the nuances of empty geriatric communication.

Oh how difficult it is to mitigate the damage caused by the DNC’s Elder-abuse Biden campaign.

I spelled it wrong on purpose just to make it fair.

You spelled it wrong twice. This will be reported to the Littles.

So CNN see’s absolutely nothing wrong with using the FBI for spying on opposition parties, and to make up evidence to put people in jail, for crimes that never happened.

I’m glad they cleared all that up.

And I'll spell it wrong three times if I feel like it.

Why are you sticking up for Beiden's name?

I'm starting to wonder about you, Preston. Do you work for the Beiden campaign?

there is essentially no evidence of his wrongdoing...

Not the qualifier, which tells you there actually *is*, of course, evidence.

It was rough. For her last 2 years I went home to care for Mom a week at a time every month. I wanted to give my sister a break from her usual care. She was local, and so bore the burden of every day care. I tried to help out as much as I could from 900 miles away. I called Mom every day. She forgot who I was, but every now and again, she would remember that I was her daughter. I wouldn’t trade those rough times for anything in the world though. My Mom was a living saint. Miss her.

How will cnn explain away all of the “new evidence” that the Justice Dept. is working on, as well as the Senate investigation, which will start up in June?

I was a full-time caregiver for my elderly parents. Most wonderful years of my life (in retrospect).

As a man, it didn't come naturally...in fact, it was hard as hell. But I am so glad I did it.

Why do these reporters assume they know more than the president of the United States? Do they really not know that he may have a little more information than they do?

They'll ignore it and remain on the attack. This is how the left behaves and so many still don't get it. They are always on offense, always advancing, while we defend. DJT is the one Republican political anomaly in my lifetime and unfortunately he's largely alone.

Essentially CNN is non-essential.

There is clearly a need to interpret the language used by CNN. “Essentially no evidence” of a crime by a Democrat, is exactly equal to “absolute proof” of a crime by a Republican.

After seeing it was written by CNN, the next thing that telegraphed the intent of the article was the word “essentially”.

“even though there is essentially no evidence of his wrongdoing”

Oh yes...just like there is no evidence of him doing anything improper in Ukraine even though it is on tape.

If they continue this line of thinking, they might lose their last 5 remaining viewers (other than the people that work for the network). CNN needs to fire all of their staff and start doing their broadcasts via podcast from Biden’s basement.
