Fox News senior judicial analyst Judge Andrew Napolitano said Friday that President Trump does not have the authority he says he does when it comes to overriding governors who will not allow churches or synagogues to reopen.
However, Napolitano told "The Daily Briefing" that the governors' bans are "ill-advised" and that the president does have one major recourse should a state executive fail to listen to his orders.
"In a word, no," he said of Trump's authority on the matter.

The Constitution is the supreme law of the land and the President is charged with enforcing the law.
LOL!
Great Idea! Hope some meme makers get the idea!
A VERY TRUE statement from my POV.
These emergency powers are a travesty. Something has to be done to severely curb them.
The idea that a governor or a mayor can unilaterally declare an emergency and in the process assume enough dictatorial power to throw the constitution under the bus is banana republic stuff.
Any emergency declaration must be approved by the legislature and must be for a short period of time. It can be renewed if the legislature decides to extend it.
Fail to pay your INCOME TAXES and tell me there are NO federal police powers.
Also don't tell that to any of the "next of kin" relatives of Branch Davidians who challenged Janice Reno.
Looks more like a grown up Eddie Munster to me.
And the residents of Oregon definitely do not like Katie Brown Shirt.
Dirty Nappy isn’t telling the complete story. The President may not have the authority to revoke a governor’s edicts, but he does have the authority to revoke the US ‘State of emergency’ he has declared for the individual state in question. This would deprive the state of federal money and support. Most rational governors would comply with almost any thing in order to keep this flowing.
That gasbag needs to STFU!
If Nap went into a Catholic Church, the roof would collapse!
Great post.
A very ignorant statement.
