Detroit police have made an arrest after disturbing videos surfaced appearing to show a black man beating white elderly patients to a pulp at a senior care home.

The victim tries in vain to shield his head from the rain of punches before he tries to get up.
The abuser then grabs him by the neck and pulls him off the bed.
He then turns the camera round to show the injuries he has caused to his victim, with blood seen streaming down the old man's face.
The aggressor is then heard saying: 'This b**ch-a** n**r wouldn't get off my bed.'

If you have elderly relatives, try to keep them out of these places, if at all possible.
There are adult day cares and other ways to manage them at home.
But if you have to put them in one; thoroughly research the place, and even if it has a good reputation- visit frequently and at all different hours and days.
Saw a comment, on a Twitter thread about this puke....saying latinos don’t tend to put their abuelos (grandparents) in nursing homes, they take care of them, til the end, at home. The poster was sickened by the vid, and admitted how hard it can be to ‘guide our elders through their final years’.
I wish more people, regardless of race/ethnicity, would be able to make arrangments and sacrifices, to keep their elders at home.

And, as many others have said, only compounded by the China Flu...no one can even check on their parents/grandparents, now.

It’s sad how many elderly are dumped in nursing homes. My mother-in-law spent the last eight years of her life in that type of facility; unfortunately, her declining health required that type of care, but she had regular visitors who kept tabs on her condition and tried to raise her spirits.
In the same home, there was a woman who appeared to be in her 80s. I was shocked to learn she was in her early 60s, a victim of early onset Alzheimer’s. Her only child was an executive in California. She visited her mother once a year, and for only two hours on each trip. Needless to say, her mother declined rapidly and passed before her 63rd birthday. Lack of visitors/family was definitely a contributing factor, according to the nursing staff (and this was an excellent facility, where patients were well cared for and didn’t have to worry about being attacked in their beds)

Problem is, we never do hardly a damn thing over this kind of thing unless the races are reversed. If they were, He’d be looking at 20 yrs or so.

Mixing young, mentally ill people into senior care facilities or apartments is a really, really bad idea.
If this thug is a patient, he should have been watched and not permitted in other patients’ rooms. Patient injuries should have resulted in an investigation before the thug publicized his crimes. Very poor supervision at thiscfacility.
Most mental health facilities don’t allow patients to have cell phones.
Well Drudge must approve and condone this black nurses behavior then.
