Attorney General Bill Barr on Monday said he does not expect U.S. Attorney John Durham’s review into the origins of the Russia probe will lead to a “criminal investigation” of either former President Barack Obama or former Vice President Joe Biden -- while noting that their concern of “potential criminality” in the conduct of that probe is “focused on others.”
Barr, during a press conference on Monday, spoke at length about Durham investigation. He said he has a “general idea” of how the investigation is going, and confirmed that “some aspects are being investigated as potential crimes.”
Barr did say, however, that “not every abuse of power, no matter how outrageous, is necessarily a federal crime.”
“As for President Obama and Vice President Biden, whatever their level of involvement based on what I know, I don’t expect Durham’s work will lead to a criminal investigation of either man,” Barr said. “Our concern of potential criminality is focused on others.”

But Trump has the power to fire...right? One of the reasons this entire Russian Collusion hoax snowballed was due to the inaction of Sessions! Trump should’ve fired his A$$ early on, but didn’t! I’m beyond sick of all the excuses on why Trump couldn’t fire Sessions!

If you truly want to destroy the SNAKE that has injected so much deadly poison into our Free Republic, it is much safer to NOT grab it by the “head” and, instead, cut off what is just behind it.
Eventually, the stench of the ROTTEN head will overcome the fear of the “poison” in its fangs, and people will be more willing and able to admit to being angered and digusted by it, and everything to which it was connected.

Durham needed all the extra time to ease those slime bags out of the way.

Gowdy had another Fox interview. Unbelievably, one his defenses for lack of substantive Congressional oversight of Wray’s dishonest 2017 briefing to the House was “Trump picked him.” The GOP basically has washed their hands of POTUS. And us, of course.

Barr’s statement aligns with your perspective. Key words are “...based on what I know, I don’t expect ....”. Had he said that “the investigation is ongoing, I cannot comment” ... the left’s hysteria would have been set off.
That being said, at this stage of the game, 3+ years of abuse of government institutions to go after POTUS, I expect nothing of substance will be done. The government in all 3 branches are protecting itself, not the freedoms and rights of Americans. I’d never thought I would ever have to write such a thing.

I hope—and PRAY—that the passion Barr displayed when he flat out said that the investigation of Trump was “a TRAVESTY of justice” is a sign that the investigation he and Durham are conducting is bearing fruit by exposing many of the ROTTEN APPLES attached to the Obama administration!
Yet, I think it is very wise that they—and Trump— do NOT go hard after Obama himself. He is and will always be “the first Black president”, and attacking him directly would be a YUGE political mistake which could backfire—BIGLY!
I want more punishment against Obama and Biden’s minions if they’re falling on the knife make it hurt.
He doesn’t have to say anything.
