State Rep. Daryl Metcalfe (R) of Butler County is slated to propose a resolution calling for the impeachment of Gov. Tom Wolf (D), contending that the governor has violated a number of our God-given rights affirmed in the United States Constitution.
Metcalfe sent a memo to colleagues on Friday, asking them to cosponsor his measure to impeach the governor over his administrations response to the coronavirus in the Keystone State. In the memo, Metcalfe states that Wolfs order mandating the closure of physical locations of all businesses that he has deemed non-life sustaining has violated our citizens rights in many devastating ways.
His order constitutes a taking of property from business owners without just compensation. The lack of due process and judicial review permitted under his order also violates the Constitution, he said, adding that the stay-at-home order has violated Pennsylvanians rights to free speech and assembly.
The Butler County Republican also told colleagues that the Wolf administration has lacked transparency as agencies under his control have stopped responding to requests for records and his office has refused to provide vital information a reference to the shadowy business waiver program allowing certain nonessential businesses to apply for exemptions to operate while the stay-at-home order remains in place. The Department of Community and Economic Development only granted waivers to 6,123 businesses, and the administration has yet to provide the criteria used to determine which businesses were granted waivers.
His delays and obfuscation have been, and continue to be, entirely unacceptable, Metcalfe said....The governor must be held accountable for his actions that have harmed so many of our citizens and violated so many of our rights, the state lawmaker added. No individual or office is above the law.

Apparently the Legislature can end Wolf’s state of emergency by passing a joint resolution.
So do it already, Metcalfe. Anything else is just virtue signaling.
I find it rather interesting that nobody is calling for Gregg Abbott’s or the govenor of Florida’s head.
The governors in trouble are all democrats.
You’ll start seeing Dem pols breaking ranks sooner or later. Even lib voters get cabin fever, and Dem reps only have so much political capital to spend, even with their own.
Should make it twofer and get rid of that creature Levine too.
...”The governors in trouble are all democrats”....
Wolf deserves everything he’s getting for hooking his Pa Governship wagon to Cuomos.....
They have requested Levine step down.....
Pennsylvania Ping!
Please ping me with articles of interest.
FReepmail me to be added to the list.
Michigan too.
.....’Dem reps only have so much political capital to spend, even with their own.”.....
They cooked their own goose...and not just in Pa. as we’re seeing..
That she/he/it (sounds best slurred) has become the face of Pennsylvania and the face of the Coronavirus to Pennsylvanians.
It shows up on every newscast, every presser, as a photo accompanying every story.
IrishBrigade posted this tribute a couple of weeks ago:
while a young kid Richie could then see
his dickie would cause him great frenzy
so he took a huge axe
gave his penis some whacks
and became a grim bigwig in Pennsy..
I think it’s just a matter of time till Levine goes. Moving it’s own mom out of a nursing home while discharging virus patients back to them is major scandal fodder.
Those 2 special elections this week were canaries in the coal mine. Their consultants must be screaming at them by now.
Michigan is planning on taking their governor to the SCOTUS. The more they complain the worse she makes their lives. Power hungry Sick woman.
We’ll see next week how this moves....Wolf thinks he can continue to hold things up via this yellow stage....he’s going to find out he’s wrong.....and that Pennsylvania’s are done with him.
Unfortunately most of PA. had no clue he was trans as he was ‘appointed’ by Wolf.....once his face was seen on TV peple had a major fit.
Thanks for your pings....
SCOTUS just refused a case from a PA rep suing Wolf.
We’re going to have to clean this up ourselves.
