At his May 12 press conference, Washington State Governor Jay Inslee laid out the plans for the statewide contact tracing initiative.
“[The initiative] is robust, it is vigorous and it is comprehensive, and it needs to be all three to be successful,” Inslee said.
“If we do not succeed in this second stage of our efforts, this virus could come bright back and bite us.”
As LynnwoodTimes.com’s Luke Putvin notes, the information Inslee provided was labeled as “Contact Tracing: Box in The Virus.” The steps were listed as follows:
Contact tracing involves interviewing people with positive COVID-19 tests to identify who they’ve been in contact with, getting those people tested and then making sure they isolate themselves and their families.
As the press conference went on, one question kept coming up – what about enforcement? How will you ensure residents comply and what if they don’t?
The answer is as scary as many have worried about. As Putvin reports, for those businesses/individuals that don’t comply, the governor stated that he confirmed with Attorney General Bob Ferguson, there will be sanctions in civil or criminal court.

When it comes to contact tracing, how are you guys going to handle people or families who want to refuse to test or to self isolate?
If they want to leave their home to get groceries I know you’ve said they can’t do that; how will you make sure they don’t?

I am aware of a beachwhere they have restricted the beach to weekdays right now only 5am -8 am then later more open and limit vehicles to travelling 4 days a week and one day on weekends by last number of their plate also vehicles 5 am to 10 pm only few exceptions should help locals but keep city folks limited

Not slave mask but a attempt to not be a latter day typhoid Mary since people with this bug tend to be contagious before being symptomatic . Masks are an effective wat to reduce the spread of this bug in airborne droplets but it requires basically everyone to wear a mask in public. The mask protects others from you if you are wearing one,when someone else is wearing one they are trying to protect you from themselves.That is why you see photos of folks in Japan ,China,other major countries in Asia with really high population density wearing face masks. Why this has not been explained is due to stupidity on the part of government & media! If you don’t want to Inhale any virus laden droplets get a full face respirator with HEPA filters & learn how to don & remove it without cross contaminating yourself a!so remember to get extra filters & learn how to de-con the mask.
I wonder when that governor will just write a declaration requiring all residents of Washington state to wear the ankle tracker bracelets that are used for some minor criminals?

Just think: we’ve had earthquakes and floods for a while now, some minor epidemics, wars certainly, but now we have locusts like we’ve never had them before, a major pandemic, and the hornets that have the faces of men and sting with their tail and can kill. All in 2020.

Me too. I used to also wonder why human beings by the billions would look the other way during the Tribulations as people are beheaded for not taking the mark of the beast.
Now I think I know: those who don't take the mark could be "carrying some infectious diseases" and we can't contact trace them - so they just have to go!
Two weeks ago, I waiting in line at our local pizza joint for my takeout order. We all wore masks and kept apart. Some guy was at the register for a looong time. He had a big order, and kept asking for this condiment and making double sure he got everything. He picked up his food and headed for the opposite line to the exit, and the elderly lady who was next in line approached the register. Suddenly, the man turned around and went back to the register (thinking they forgot something in his order), and he saw the elderly woman.
He SCREAMED at her: "HEEY!!! Six Feet! SIX! FEET!"
If he did that 2 months ago, the owner of the restaurant (Tony) would have throw that jerk out on his ear. But there was nothing the owner could do.
