Future Air Travel: Four-Hour Process, Self Check-In, Disinfection, Immunity Passes
Forbes ^ | 05/10/2020 | Cecelia Rodriguez

What You Can Expect

Among the steps under consideration: no cabin bags, no lounges, no automatic upgrades, face masks, surgical gloves, self-check-in, self-bag-drop-off, immunity passports, on-the-spot blood tests and sanitation disinfection tunnels.

Digital technologies and automation will play a critical role in the future of air travel. The need to reduce “touchpoints” at airports implies mandatory use of biometric boarding that allows passengers to board planes with only their face as a passport.

“And it seems they do want to push what amounts to an internal passport to travel (as seen in totalitarian countries)”

That’s about what these “real ID” drivers licenses are.

“Strip nekkid and step into that room over there to be disinfected and then we’ll give you a sealed bag with your stuff in it and your airline robe.”

This will make air travel far more difficult and undesirable and will kill more people than corona. And it will destroy the industry.

I’m sure it’s just a coincidence that this is a stated goal of the green new deal

Whenever I air travelled in recent years, I try to do it with carry-on only.

For example, last time I travelled to Hawaii (vacation), my wife and I took carry-ons only with virtually no clothing. We bought our clothes in Hawaii once landing and then sent them home (along with the souvenirs we bought) by UPS before flying home. Now this might seem super-expensive to do but it really wasn't. I got some really nice Hawaiian shirts away from the tourist trap areas like the ones that the locals wear at reasonable prices.

You would be far better off breathing cabin air than wearing a mask. And airliners do not carry anything close to that amount of oxygen. It would take a big redesign and retrofit of airframes.
And all you would do is install a system MORE likely to make you sick.

Likely, this fascistic, panic-based behavior will result in plane passengers being placed into a medically-induced coma for the flight. This way they can be placed in plastic body bags for the flight...and stacked like cord wood (saving space). The passengers won’t even be aware of whatever indignities that they are exposed to.

No thanks.

All this would do is kill commercial airlines once and for all.

Those are used for decompression and have very little duration. Just enough to get to 15,000 ft.

They attempt to do all this and you can kiss any sort of airline goodbye. People barely put up with TSA, add in this additional theater and NO ONE will get on a plane.

Maybe they can just stuff ya in a box and cram ya in the hold as freight. That should cut contact down.

Three things for you to consider;

You said you don’t buy into conspiracy theories, and I understand what you mean in a sense. But, would you ever say the extremely rich and powerful sit back like the rest of us and think “I wonder what is going to happen in the next few years and how it will affect my fortune and power?”? Or do they make moves not visible to others to arrange the chessboard?

And also, if you to think back through history you can’t fail to notice how many important events we now know had some sort of conspiracy behind them.

The creation of the Federal reserve system is an example.
Woodrow Wilson’s wife really did function as President for about a year after his stroke. She insisted only she could speak with him, when the cabinet came in, she would take their papers and review them and SHE presented them to the President in his bedroom, and came out to tell them what “He” wanted. His condition was hidden from the American people.
If the 1960s you said that the US Government was testing LSD on unwitting subjects, running a brothel, injecting plutonium into unwitting subjects, and studying men with syphilis at Tuskegee for 3 decades after penicillin was invented but never treating them, people would think you were a nutty conspiracy theorist. But all were true.

And I think the truly nutty conspiracy theories like the Queen of England is a lizard, etc are put out there precisely to make ANY questioning of the official story seem absurd.

So that said, I do not think you are being overly suspicious at all for thinking stories like this are deliberately being pushed to spread the fear.

May as well drive except that will kill far more people. And I thought this was all about saving lives?
