The time has come to cease affording the FBIs Crossfire Hurricane team generous benefit of the doubt. A steady stream of unflattering revelations, beginning with a report by the Justice Department's inspector general into egregious FISA abuses last December, has relentlessly pounded the reputation of my former agency. Now, further irrefutable proof emerges that a small cabal of FBI headquarters decision-makers was hellbent on undoing a presidency.
...
one thing is clear.
Michael Flynn got railroaded.
...
FBI notes illustrate a concerted effort by former FBI Director James Comey's team to set Flynn up.
...
clearly initialed by then-FBI Assistant Director for the Counterintelligence Division Bill Priestap.
...
The Flynn FD-302 interview notes appear to have been manipulated by Strzok and Page. Pientka was apparently the note taker. Consistent with FBI protocols, Strzok, as a party to the interview, can certainly discuss recollections with Pientka prior to the final document being approved by both. But somehow, Page, the DOJ attorney who was not present at the interview and was not an FBI agent, was involved in the edits.
Strzok advises Page, in a newly released batch of text exchanges between the two, that he was trying to not completely rewrite the FD-302, so as to save [redacted] voice. The redacted name is most likely Pientka. Strzok wants the document to appear to be voiced by the other agent. But only after he and Page can craft the words to make Flynn appear guilty of lying to the FBI.
...
the FD-302 that was eventually provided to the court wasnt that of the agents interview of Mr. Flynn. It was instead an FD-302 of an interview of Mr. Strzok, conducted months later, about his recollections of the original interview. Truly bizarre

This is being reported like some big breaking news bomb. Anyone paying attention three years ago knew it was horseshit.
Documents are finally out and on the record. Yeah, its big.
Bongino nailed this 3 years ago.
I like that term...railroaded! I did work for the railroad, and I have been railroaded. The term has truth.
The FBI has a long history of ignoring individual rights so it’s not like this is completely out of left field. And it’s not just the upper 1% as Hannity is fond of saying. Completely ignored was the results of the field survey the IG did to see how many field offices were using proper procedures in obtaining FISA warrants. Every field office failed. It’s pervasive. REFORM THE DOJ/FBI!!
Sure was. Now what ??
So... WHERE are the INDICTMENTS???
YEP And the entire inner circle of COMEY & his henchmen need to be indicted, tried by jury, convicted & sent to federal prison for the felonies that they committed.
THEN the FBI needs to be ABOLISHED, after a through audit by a neutral CPA firm.. ANY uninvolved/honest agents can be hired by another agency & the rest FIRED w/o compensation.
At this point the FBI will NEVER be trusted again by smart/decent people.
(IF a tree in an orchard is DISEASED, the wise farmer cuts it down, rips out the stump/roots & burns every part to save the orchard.)

There are a lot of people who need to be in prison, or we dont have a country.
No sh!t sherlock!!!
Were the altered 302 forms ever submitted by the FBI as evidence in a court proceeding?
If they werent, then Im not sure theyre even relevant to this case in any way.
Think of a ridiculous example where I am being prosecuted for illegal campaign contributions to Donald Trump. If the prosecution team doctors up some fake checks and bank records listing a billion dollars of contributions and keeps those documents in their own files thats one thing, but if they actually present them to a grand jury or use them in a criminal trial as evidence of my crime, then thats a whole different matter.
I am not a lawyer but I would presume the judge would want to see the actual evidence for why Flynn plead guilty for the sentencing phase. iI the 302 they submitted was doctored, it would seem to me that would be a crime.
The evidence of Strzok and Page rewriting a 302 merits attention.
At a minimum, it’s a suitcase nuke.
“Anyone paying attention three years ago knew it was horseshit.”
Yup-unless you have been living under a rock.
