Democrats haven't changed since 1840

It is a fact that the Democratic Party has from its inception been committed to the subjugation of human beings they deemed as chattel or insignificant. The Democratic Party Platform in 1840, 1844 and 1848 held that: "All efforts by abolitionists … to interfere with questions of slavery … are calculated to lead to the most alarming and dangerous consequences and … have all inevitable tendency to diminish the happiness of the people and endanger the stability and permanency of the Union." (See: "Democrats and Republicans In Their Own Words.")

In colloquial parlance Democrats were arguing that the owning slaves was a right based upon the good pleasure of white people so inclined, for which they were prepared to fight to preserve.

In 1852 they took an even stronger position in their platform, stating unequivocally: "The Democrat Party will resist all attempts at renewing – in Congress or out of it – the agitation of the slavery question [i.e., will oppose all efforts to abolish slavery]."

It is important to lay this foundation because it illuminates the party's contumelious arrogance and hereditary contempt for civility, which continues unabated until today.

This explains why they and the mainstream media are so symbiotically cohesive. They're genetic extensions of the same political gene pool. That's why I have great respect for the late Arnaud de Borchgrave. He was a member of a very select and limited number of honest journalists.

De Borchgrave frequently argued that journalistic integrity had become nothing more than a de facto "Pravda," the Russian broadsheet, which was the principle propaganda organ of the Communist Central Committee. And he was right. The American news organizations are neither truthful nor do they subscribe to the moral requisite of "truthfully reporting the news." Today newscasters view it their divine right

The racism is far far worse today in the democrat party then when the Klan was at it’s peak. Today it’s based on pity and complete absolute superiority to the point they don’t even think about it. It’s no longer based on hate. hate would mean there is a feeling that there is a a threat.

The Dim’s platform today was defined in 1854 by Henry Hughes in his pro-slavery book “ A Treatise on Sociology”. He describes a social / political system he calls “Waranteeism” that creates a universal slave state that extends beyond just blacks. In Hillary speak Hughes thought “It takes a plantation to raise a child.” It’s the welfare state as the Dim’s would really like it to be. Don’t believe me? The text is available for free online.

I have never seen an honest accounting of the founding of the Democrat party. Particularly the prehistory of it. I think it goes back at least to the debate on the Declaration of Independence.

I would argue that the Democratic Party was founded on hate, by hate and for hate. Jackson’s treatment of the Cherokee was hateful. He wanted their land for his cronies. So he took it.

Treason has been their mainstay. Secret negation with the Confederacy in 1864 would have ended the Civil War with slavery intact. Democrats staged a coup in Wilmington, NC in 1896. Threw all the Republicans and blacks out of town, installing their government. Kennedy wanted Russian assistance to defeat Reagan. On and on.

This article should be “required reading” for the history revisionists on FR claiming the Democrats were “honorable and patriotic” before LBJ (or even that they were “the conservative party in America” back when the south voted RAT.

I’m so tired of the “the two parties switched sides” myth that is spread by the left, the mainstream media, and repeated by useful idiots on “our side”
