Adam Schiff on April 7 sent Richard Grenell a letter demanding answers on the agency’s personnel changes, including the firing of ICIG Michael Atkinson.
“President Trump did not nominate you for confirmation as permanent DNI, and it would be inappropriate for you to pursue any additional leadership, organizational, or staffing changes to ODNI during your temporary tenure,” Schiff wrote in an April 7 letter acting like he has authority over the executive branch.
And Grenell responded with fire.
“I must disagree with your proposals to divest the DNI of managerial competence and personnel decision-making authority, and to replace your committee’s mandate for Intelligence Community oversight with a mandate for IC administration,” Grenell said.

.... This Administration has been reasonably successful in routing out Swamp Operatives .... So now the Democrats want more of a say in who the Anti Swamp President wants to appoint so they can regain more of their ever dwindling control over their dying Swamp.
Sounds like mr shif has a personal interest in the activities of the intel community. Now that his boy Atkinson is out, how many more assets does he have left on the inside.
Poor little Schiff, he got his comeuppance. Schiff is now scrambling to Impeach Trump over the acting DNI director Grenell telling him to go to hades.

That man is full of himself ... he thought he had the administration by the throat... why don’t more tell him to pound sand... why do they follow him... why do they let him go on and on...while they sit and do nothing.
Don’t tell me they can’t.. this guy has been out of order since Trump became our President... so it’s time to get out order on THIS side and shut him up!
