I like to be touched, a lot. I am an affectionate person. However, I like to decide who touches me and when.
I did not understand or have the words back then to describe how I felt, but only sensed power moves and body language that I did not like. There was not yet the framework as there is now.
I did not like Joe Biden’s hand on me not for the reasons you think, it is because I am the alpha in the room too. Again, I like to be the one who chooses who enters my space and in what way.
We are sexual beings and we are all trying to figure out how to express this aspect of ourselves at work and home lives, it is a journey our society is on right now. But this is not a story about sexual misconduct; it is a story about abuse of power. It is a story about when a member of Congress allows staff to threaten or belittle or bully on their behalf unchecked to maintain power rather than modify the behavior.

Her 15 minutes are up before it even got started.

A wanna be alpha with an exaggerated sense of her own importance. I had a dog like that once, it didn’t end well for him.
She's a good writer (you can tell she is in a creative writing group...and doing well in it).
Her writing style is unique enough that when you "get it," you are captured by it (i.e., want to keep reading because you now understand the "code").
Beyond that, she reveals enough of herself that you come to see that you are hearing the story of a real human being--one willing to be honest about her ambition and weaknesses, not just whining about how her innocence was stolen by those in power.
My take on this piece was that she was saying this is not the story of what Joe Biden did to me. This is a presentation of "who I am" so that when you read the account of what Joe did, you will understand the perspective of the one giving that account.

But in her case, she not expect to have Biden abuse his power, to shove her up against a wall, and use his finger to penetrate her.
She gave us an honest portrait of herself as the pretty girl you described.
And she gave us an honest portrait of Biden as a kind of Harvey Weinstein beast.
I thought it was a Penthouse article at first.
With this story, she is already setting up the narrative that she is a creative writer with an active imagination. She will recant within a month.

When I was a young teenager (13-14) an older neighbor boy pulled out a hard core magazine (not Playboy) with close ups of genitalia and shoved it in my face. I turned and took off and never had anything else to do with him. I judged him by that action as a super creep and never changed my opinion. In the end, years later, he ended up running and winning a US House seat as a Republican. On paper, he checked every box with his conservative credentials but thank God he lost in 2018 and I hope he never runs again. I do not live in that district (or even in the state), but there is no way in hell I could ever pull the lever for him or support his candidacy. And that is the difference between us and them.
If all he did was run his finger up and down her neck at a meeting, is that sexual assault? And I was in the Army when I was 23. No one ever messed with me that way, one colonel stalked me for a couple days, but I put the kibosh on that deal. Why didn’t she swat him away?
