This is false on several points including their opposition to Trump’s travel ban and their advice to continue to socialize and not fear what was happening in China or among old people. Fauci held that view feb 29 and in early March. He is lying about urging action in early-mid feb.

There must’ve been cases in the U.S. already, most likely on the west coast where Chinese typically enter the country. They just didn’t know what it was. They got through it first, and now are doing well — way ahead of the rest of the country. Herd immunity was happening and they didn’t know it. No drama. No masks. No Christians persecuted. No law-abiding Americans held prisoners in their own homes.
