Reguardless battleship or frigate they are targets. Israel has things in the air and underwater that eat things.

It sure isn’t. I suppose the author meant to say “warship” instead of “battleship”. It’s just inexcusably sloppy reporting.

So what’s your point. Frigates are a warship with a mixed armament, generally heavier than a destroyer (in the US Navy) and of a kind originally introduced for convoy escort work.
