Four French frigates entered Lebanese docks on Tuesday, March 24th.
According to a report by Al-Joumhouria, the ‘sophisticated’ French frigates are being ‘gifted’ to the Lebanese Military and will be joining the navy.
The Lebanese government, and hence its military are fully controlled by Hezbollah and the terror organization’s allies.
French ambassador to Beirut, Bruno Fouche, ‘personally supervised the operation’. Fouche even boarded one of the battleships that were delivered to Lebanon from the Toulon Naval Base in southern France.
This news is 2wks old, and I detect quite a bit of bias in this report.

Speaking of the French Navy. Other than their action in Chesapeake Bay that prevented the British from relieving Cornwallis, has the French Navy ever had a significant victory since then?

Are we starting a pool on when the next significant Lebanese navy “accident” occurs? I’m guessing it will result in the catastrophic loss of a recently acquired frigate or two...
Maybe the Germans can sell the Israelis 4 Resolute class cruise ships.
I don’t know about the French Navy but the Ship that was sold to the US during the revolutionary war that John Paul Jones fought a British Man-of-War with did ok. The Bonhome Richard or some such. A good man fighting a tough little ship with a good crew.
Knowing how these terrorists thinks, the armament is not really important as they will want to use this as a suicide weapon loaded with explosives to destroy Israel’s oil & gas platforms.
