A top medical executive at a Buffalo hospital was fired this weekend after demanding that supporters of President Donald Trump renounce ventilators if they become critically ill with coronavirus.
In a Facebook exchange, Laura Krolczyk, Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center's now former vice president for external affairs, wrote, "Trump supporters need to pledge to give up their ventilators for someone else ... and not go to the hospital."
Krolczyk also said Trump supporters should "barricade themselves" inside churches to ride out the coronavirus.
"Also don't cash your stimulus check. It's all a hoax. Chew some ibuprofen and be on with your day," Krolczyk wrote of Trump supporters.
Krolczyk was initially placed on administrative leave, but was later terminated over the comments, according to the Buffalo News.
Roswell Park released the following statement announcing Krolczyk's termination, WGRZ-TV reported:
This employee was terminated today [Saturday] after our Human Resources team concluded its investigation. We followed standard procedure, which required that we gather and verify relevant information before taking any disciplinary action.
Dr. Johnson and her team responded with swift and appropriate action. We have always been and continue to be a center serving everyone who needs us. That is core to our mission, our culture and the experience our patients and families can expect every day.
This behavior is not tolerated at Roswell Park. If any team members act in a way that does not accord with that commitment, we will take swift and appropriate action, just as we did in this instance. Krolczyk earned $226,580 in compensation in 2019, the Buffalo News reported.
Krolczyk previously worked for Hillary Clinton and Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.).
Clintonland is family. There is no leaving.”
Exactly. That’s why I don’t trust Fauci AT ALL. He’s from there, i.e., Clintonland. You don’t leave, except in a body bag.
No truer words were ever spoken.
Nor that evil...
Despite what people would like to believe, Facebook is no more private than a roadside billboard.
More than likely her contract did have a clause as you posited under 2). Conduct unbecoming is in many executive contracts and it applies to “off work” time as well.
Yup.. Ideologues are gonna Ideologue.
Well, at least she’ll have the stimulus check to fall back on.
A spoonful of anger makes the medicine go down.
At least he got himself good and fired! This is what practicing liberalism does to people . . . they go crazy.
Phrase was developed by Scott Adams of Dilbert fame. “I’m showing off how moral I am, I’m so much better than you!”
A related issue is what the New York Times calls “luxury beliefs”. A rich white liberal who is married and would never let her child have a bastard argues that you don’t need marriage and family to raise kids right.
It’s ironic that the left has aborted millions of potential voters since the 70s. They want to kill us but have thoroughly succeeded in killing off their own voting future.

Roger that!
Prepare for the worst; hope for the best!
I’m of the belief that if a person has a severe case of TDS and they elect to spend any monies set for them by Pres Trump working with Crongress it presents them as a hypocrite. It’s my personal belief.
Do I believe they should be legally deprived of the monies or denied medical attention, no way. Because of my own belief system in the Constitution and in the Lord God.
Yes, there are folks that would be upset if the tables were turned on a Pres Trump supporter. That is with them and their beliefs.
In her position she could cause someone to be overlooked by accident, perhaps? Don’t know. Would I want someone on my staff with such a hatred towards people to have any control over those people medically? No way, no how.
What’s inside our core beliefs will eventually seep out of our souls and into our daily actions.
Sometimes it takes decades to see evil come to fruition and other times years, months, weeks or even just hours.
Her anger built and built and over the years was allowed to fester without anyone challenging her with any sense of logic or true compassion.
Private thoughts are like history books: Eventually someone’s going to see it, read it, or hear about it and disagree. A person’s got to be prepared to stand for those beliefs when it happens.
I have a very strong belief system. Intensely strong. Yet when I walked in the door at whatever job I held it was with the knowledge I either yielded to the job or quit.
It was often I told my beloved that I wouldn’t voice opinions on the job and that I was grateful to be able to make it to retirement without having to resign because of personal beliefs. He was prepared for that instance, just in case it had to happen....
It’s not about wanting to brainwash someone.
It’s about someone who’s personal beliefs put others down to the level of animals.
For that, she needs to be working with animals, not people.
And may the animals be protected as well, from her.

Omgosh. I had to read that three times, maybe even a forth time, to get what it meant.
Nutty. Just nutty. And there are folks who actually do think that way. ((shudder))
That's a keeper. There are many leftists/statists who's views are reprehensible. But if I owned a diner, and they walked in with their Bernie shirts and were good to their waitress, I wouldn't deny them service.

And that’s the ideal attitude.
It’s also Biblical advice.
Proverbs 25:21-22 (NIV) Because some find it easier to understand.
If your enemy is hungry, give him food to eat;
if he is thristy, give him water to drink.
In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head, and the LORD will reward you.

Understanding the ‘reward’ is the peace granted to you by the Lord God upon your spirit is the most important part.
Doesn’t mean I have to ‘trust’ the person/persons; just treat them humanely.
If thine enemy be hungry, give him bread to eat; and if he be thirsty, give him water to drink:
For thou salt heap coals of fire upon his head, and the LORD shall reward thee.
I may have a baseball bat under the counter for protection, though....
