... The U.S. governments foremost infection disease expert says the United States could experience more than 100,000 deaths and millions of infections from the coronavirus pandemic. ... I would say between 100,000 and 200,000 cases, he said, correcting himself to say he meant deaths. Were going to have millions of cases. But he added I dont want to be held to that because the pandemic is such a moving target. ...

Fixed it for ya
A cocktail of zinc sulfate, HCQ, and azithromycin has been shown to be an effective early treatment of the virus. The HCQ acts as a doorway for the zinc to enter the cell where the virus is and kill the virus. The azithromycin is to prevent a secondary bacterial infection.
Because whatever the numbers end up being, it would be much worse without the lockdown.
Heads I win, tails you lose. Wu Flu addicts have the best confidence game going right now.
They have chosen the second, for now. In a few weeks they will switch to the first.
So how come we dont lock down every year because of the flu?
Please, don’t give the tantruming Wu Flu hobbyists any ideas.
We will never know the true statistics. IF everyone was tested, symptomatic and non-symptomatic, the death rate would be well below the seasonal flu. But that wont happen. Yes, we are doing all the right things to stem the tide of this virus, but it really is not as deadly as they claim.
I’m glad you added the sarcastic tag.
Because you can’t tell these days.
Someone tell me again why we have an entire country's economy almost ground to a halt over this? (And I ask that as someone who's immune system compromised and think all this crap is ridiculous. The fear mongering is so far over the top it's not even funny anymore.)
Operative word is could
“It could happen” is not a fact.

Fauci needs to go, his Time in the Spotlight has fried his brain. He’s in cahoots with the Luciferian Left.
It’s a potent virus, but cleanliness and reasonable guidelines, not Fear-Mongering needs to Prevail. We are being intentionally hyped into panic for opportunistic totalitarian control
R0 is far greater for the KungFlu.
And it puts a greater percentage of younger people into the ICU on ventilators for weeks on end.
Not the end of the world, but a nasty speedbump for public health and the economy.
We don't live in a world of perfect information, but we have enough information to make educated predictions and take appropriate action.
I don't see any evidence suggesting this is weaker than the seasonal flu, but much evidence indicating it's considerably worse.
Hell of a caveat there, Doc...
But that is not what is being presented her. These are estimates, or more accurately guesses based upon modeling. Much like global warming. Now I am not saying that because one is full of chit the other is therefore also full of chit.
But the reality is they know no more than you as to what the outcomes will be after the dust finally settles.
But regardless, fear and panic solve nothing and never has. That is true of complacency as well.
One thing is for sure, this virus will fade into the rear view mirror and life will continue on. What is also true is that if the economy is allowed to wither on the vine, it will cause more deaths than the virus will. We cannot afford to sit back and watch & wait, as reality prohibits that option for very long.
CDC estimates that so far this season there have been at least 39 million flu illnesses, 400,000 hospitalizations and 24,000 deaths from flu. These numbers do not include the ChiCom Flu. This years flu season is pretty typical.
I bet we could still keep it at an acceptable level (which I would define as below 1 million), if we just quarantine the seniors and the immuno-compromised. We wouldnt be wreaking nearly the destruction that we are now.
