More than 52,000 of the nation's over 113,000 coronavirus cases have been reported in New York state alone. And officials are forecasting that the apex of the pandemic there is still 14 to 21 days away.

"This would be a federal declaration of war on states," Cuomo said, adding that he doesn't think the President is looking to start a war with states.

If extraordinary times require extraordinary measures, and they do, then this is the time for the Democratic Party to nominate Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo for president.

Why?

First, because he is the only elected official in the United States today who has fully demonstrated the leadership, toughness, management skill and humanity that meeting the coronavirus pandemic demands. To be crudely political - and practical - he is the only Democrat who can absolutely beat President Donald Trump in November. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

When the actual death rate for the coronavirus drops due to warmer weather, watch how California and NY State dems/mediots will say their brave governors saved their states in spite of the evil Trump.
