“It appears, tomorrow, that America will become the single largest reporter of Coronavirus COVID-19 cases, in the entire globe.”
that’s because we’re doing more testing, and the reported case numbers here will continue to grow as we test greater and greater numbers ... total cases don’t matter except hopefully to let our “leaders” know that the cat is already out of the bag, and all of this shutdown and lockdown stuff is BS ...
what DOES matter is the growth rate of hospitalizations and deaths .. if/when that growth rate falls, then we’ll know that that our hospitals are NOT going to overwhelmed with a “surge”, ESPECIALLY as there’s a cheap, easy, and ubiquitous cure on the horizon, and we should be able to get back to the business of business in this country ...
Europe can fit three times into the size of the US.
Do you know that up until last week Pasadena, California
didn’t have adequate testing facilities up and running?
The day in question was the 18th.
I have a family member in the health care industry and also
working with schools, who needed to be tested. They had to
wait 24 hours before they opened up a facility.
He was tested and waited four days for the results.
You lighten up Frances.
The CDC failed this nation. Government regulations
prevented the private sector from stepping in to pick up
the slack for a period of time.
Yup. I thought 2 wks ago all the screaming for more tests by the MSM was their effort to fluff up the numbers.
Considering we, as a country are not yet really allowing a lot of people to use the single-best treatment available yet (in my own opinion) - that might just be a simple matter of us, having the most recent numbers.
Though, people are receiving the treatment:

"But is tiny star in giant constelllation that is Mother Russia!"
Exactly. A meaningless milestone to feed the hysteria machine.
And as of today we have tested ~430, 000 or 0.12% of the population. If we tested 100% and the same trend held, we would have 62 million cases, with 2.48 million critical.
Correct
Either that or they should total us by states.
If one accepts the figures from China.
America is 38th for the total cases per million. America is doing pretty good, when all things considered.
You’re only third, because you have 350 million people.
That is what happens when you significantly ramp up testing.
A more telling statistic would the mortality rate. # of deaths / total number of confirmed cases. Then compare the mortality rate between countries. The US currently seems to have a mortality rate of around 1.2 to 1.4 percent.
MUCH LOWER THAN THE WHO NUMBER OF over 3%
China's numbers are crap as are much of the rest of the world.
I just count them in the Outside China numbers.
Notice they report out as individual nations for the bad things.
LOL
Meaningless when adjusted for population and China data problems.
Militarize the CDC. Treat it like the Coast guard - under DHS during peace time, moved to DoD during war/emergency. Appoint Birx the first commander; re-commission and promote her to general.
Treat Friday 3/13 as Pearl - re-invent our entire bio early warning/detection/response system. A bio-NORAD if you will. Incorporate integrated rapid response/resource allocation via x-agency/x-state/local mechanisms for actual incoming bio-terror attacks.
This shit should never happen again.
The USA just overtook China in terms of total number infected and detected. 82,000 and still growing rapidly.
That’s ar 8 pm GMT 26.March
and liberals are really hoping for us to get the brunt.
The EU isn’t a country. It’s a loose confederation of countries
yep. Figures lie and liars figure...
