KC Metro area just was told the entire area will be on lockdown/mandatory “stay at home” for 30 days starting Tuesday. I’m ready to be done with this. That will make it about 45 days for us with the previous 15, give or take. Far too much.
Your post about our tireless, hard working President is insulting and disrespectful.
I’m also guessing the state won’t have much ability to enforce their orders if the national emergency has been rescinded. That is where they get their ability to do this, yes?
True schools are closed. No panic buying. No place is closed other then schools.
It’s not fear.
They might as well tell everyone to get their businesses open and go back to work on that date ... because a lot of small business owners have to do it or face insolvency.

Meanwhile, our boomer parents—all 4 of them!—keep going out shopping for groceries and Home Depot! Daily! Arrghh. We are in CA and the National Guard is now being mobilized to protect the Boomers from themselves.
The “Boomer Remover” virus will indeed remove them at this rate—I’m exasperated. They will not accept deliveries or attempt online shopping.

WOW. I’m a Boomer, and I love on-line shopping. Since Christmas, I have only been to town twice. That was to go to the Doctor—required by Insurance to recertify my meds. While there I got the Dr. to write my Rx for an extra 90 days.
Hubby made a run to the grocery to get Milk, hamburger buns, and shelf stable milk, eggs, and cheese on 3/16. We have no plans to go anywhere for at least 2 months.
I have had 2 occasions where I was suddenly unable to breath a few years ago. It was a reaction to medication. I was with my Dad when he was unable to breathe and had to be put on a ventilator.
There is no way I’d do anything to risk going through such a thing. I like breathing too much.
Probably over 60 continue working from home / social distancing. others crank back up.
Today was day 7 of this specific 15 day plan...

Leading up to y2k, FR was a hot bed for preppers that could explain in every detail how the world was going to end. They were never ending in their desperate fight to convince people that we were DOOMED.
Today, that same thing is present with the Virus mongers. What a sack of losers. They are too stupid to see that the same thing is happening here, the Deep State making a power/money grab.
