WE CANNOT LET THE CURE BE WORSE THAN THE PROBLEM ITSELF. AT THE END OF THE 15 DAY PERIOD, WE WILL MAKE A DECISION AS TO WHICH WAY WE WANT TO GO!
- President Trump
Excellent
3 posts and then he up and left...
Thank God at least the President has his head on straight. Now I just hope he can convince the public. Most of the panicked masses I hear from would gladly burn our whole country down just to keep one more person from being infected.
Thank God!!!
We’ll see. There are over 35,000 confirmed cases, by far most of them not recovered.
but people have been going out to bars and restaurants discouraged or not.....
Damned straight!
I don’t cook...
I make Top Ramen and Reservations.

I watched and lived through the great Asian Meltdown in 2002-2003 from SARS. HK property values actually fell! The Hang Sang was back up to where it was before the outbreak, or close to it, by the end of 2004.
We bought a flat in Causeway Bay near the bottom of that market.

Each patient must tie up the ICU’s for a long time.
In the end, he is one man and we can’t decide an entire country’s fate based on it
Yes, that’s one of the special problems with it.
They will probably be rescinded the next day after he declares there is no bailout.

BINGO!!!!!!!!!!!

Masks don’t prevent you from getting it but protect others from getting it from you, if you have symptoms stay home
Japan closed schools and many people wear masks there, almost like a fashion statement.
Federalism
True but so many governors are under the Groupthink spell of the Fauci scientists - maybe the govs will reverse course then.
Bad event, good experience. I had some of my people traveling in SEA at the time. Difficult but no crisis.
The terms a week ago were to try the 15 day plan and see how things go. A week in and things are not looking well but who really knows since testing surges then falls making the data pretty much junk. I suspect the surge in cases is a surge in testing and that we had many more than we think already. So, we don’t know if we are winning or losing except that we have a growing case load.
That said, I can’t see that anyone is paying much attention to the guidelines but a few of us anyway. Just no big assemblies and a national paid holiday. The highway out here is as busy as usual. Maybe more so.
This tweet is either born of desperation or posturing or inability to make a real decision. I’ve been disappointed with just about everything done so far. The boasting about early shut down to China travel has gotten old, over promise and way under deliver on almost everything discussed by the task force. CDC, FDA and NIH are useless. Just coming across as unable to do anything that counts for much but promise.
Going this far then throwing in the towel makes all that has passed just a clown show for nothing.
The President needs to listen more and talk less and when he does talk stay on script or not talk at all. That would save him from looking the fool at least some.
They may have to turn people over 30 away. I see Israel’s cutoff is at 60 already.
Look at their duration, they have,’t been sick long enough to recover
