They would have a hard time standing against the Federal government, I think. Typically, Federal government supersedes state, and in this case (though I cannot believe I’m saying it), I would be rooting for the Feds over the state because where I am we are about to be shut down for 30 days minimum come Tuesday. In addition to the week to 10 days we’ve already pretty much been shut down. With a working drug on the horizon and vaccines in the works, it’s too much. We need to get back to normalcy.

Only where they have overlapping jurisdiction. There is no doubt the states have the authority to issue these orders, and it's unlikely the federal government can overrule them.

I do agree that we can't let the cure be worse than the disease, but I don't know what 15 days he's talking about.
