There is no way this is legal. He does not have the power. Look at the fourth Whereas:.
Pa. YOU GOT A TYRANT DICTATOR.
You mean its not just a flu?
Abortion mills...life sustaining? Legally yes. Our lyin’ eyes.
If he declares Marshall law its legal.
The problem with that theory is, if there is not a rapid increase in infected and deaths, can’t he claim, with some legitimacy, that his rules are working?
There was no need to be threatening about it. We just pointed out how abjectly stupid it was to have one particular type of restriction in place when you have people panicking and emptying store shelves.
Martial law.
“One FReeper posted here yesterday that his gun club had closed under the governors orders. His GUN CLUB.”
I received this notice from my GC in NE Pennsylvania.
“With the latest “Order” from Governor Wolf going into effect just a couple of hours ago there has a been a slew of phone calls and emails concerning our operations and future events. The club falls under the civic organization category and as such in not under the shutdown mandate. We will continue to monitor and operate under CDC guidelines for classes and events.”
Limitations on Gun laws during a state of emergency.
“It is important to remind everyone of the gun laws that go live during a declared state of emergency. Our friends at US Law Shield explain: After the gun confiscation during the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, Congress acted swiftly, enacting 42 U.S.C. Section 5207. This law basically precludes the government, people acting on behalf of the government, or people receiving federal funds from making up gun regulations as they go along, during a major disaster or an emergency. There are some exceptions, but the law prohibits confiscation or registration, unless it would be authorized absent the disaster or emergency. It also generally forbids limitations on possession or carry, if its not otherwise prohibited under federal, state, or local law. The law makes it clear that violators can be sued in court, and if a person succeeds in this kind of lawsuit, the government has to pay their attorney fees.
As far as PA is concerned, the Crimes Code § 6107 provides a similar protection: No firearm, accessory or ammunition may be seized, taken or confiscated during an emergency unless the seizure, taking, or confiscation would be authorized absent the emergency. But, section 6107 also provides specific restrictions on carry during a State of Emergency stating: No person shall carry a firearm upon the public streets or upon any public property during an emergency proclaimed by a State or municipal governmental executive.
This prohibition doesnt apply if youre actively defending your life or property from peril or threat. So, if a dangerous looter breaks into your house, you get into a gunfight for your life and it spills out onto the street, youd be exempt. The prohibition also doesnt apply if you have a License to Carry Firearms or if youre exempt from licensing under § 6105(d).”
The hogs need feeding . . .
You thought this was the land of the free? hasn’t been for a long time.
I hear the same from National Guard contacts.

I live in Meadville and am a Commonwealth employee and I’m telecommuting. I work with employers and I’m trying to provide guidance, but with the Governors order I don’t think we can provide much assurance now. The State has a number of assistance programs available, but working for the State, I can see that it will be a complete cluster f*** and the Unemployment website and phone system will crash.
Some call it hoarding, some call it being prepared.
Anyone who has been through a natural disaster knows the difference.
When things go to real shortages, it is the unprepared to start taking things from others, or waiting for the government to ride in on a white horse to save them.
Be prepared. That's all I say.
If you or someone you love needs medications and vital supplies, go out and get them while you can.
"The prudent see danger and take refuge, but the simple keep going and pay the penalty."

to = who
Yup.
Bingo. Convoy only moves as fast as its slowest ship. Philly is a cesspool and everything being done to PA is to prevent an exodus from Philly out into the collar counties. As long as no bars, restaurants or malls are open in the burbs, the urban denizens will stay in their dens. There is a reason why the governors of NJ, PA, CT and NY are acting in concert. The goal is to freeze the urban populations in place.
