Bloomberg is LINK ONLY...
“Do a lot of freepers read/listen to/watch MSM and believe it or something? Seems like it.”
I’ve complained about this a lot. If/when Big Media presents a fairly well worded article that doesn’t seem DIRECTLY related to politics, the path of least resistance is to believe it. Some even actually say, “I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt...”
FraudCo polticized EVERYTHING, and was an enemy combatant against the United States.
Probably a little hard to handle for some here.
Some of Gen. Patton’s words come to mind.
Thelonious "Sphere". Monk Because he was not a square.
A week or so ago we ran out of TP and I was going by a Dollar Tree , picked up 2-4roll packs.
No one else buying TP and plenty in stock. I feel if I go there right now it will be a different story with the virus panic setting in all around me, and on TV. -Tom
Good, can he cancel this year’s election?
Absolutely it’s all about the election, and already the Rats are declaring victory, that the flu hoax has destroyed Trump.....

The libs are consistent in their inconsistency.
I want his lamps. That’s going to be next years Christmas present.
You’re being sarcastic, right?
I’m game. Amazon prime or Sams club Plus for home delivery
It is interesting that so many people are truly panicing about this. Reasonable hygiene measures should always occur...both personal and public. Especially, if you are elderly and already compromised with other illness, avoid contact with others for a while as much as you can. If you have a compromised immune system, do the same.
I believe that there is such pervasive panic is related to many not being able to think critically about anything. As their emotions rise, they become members of the panic-stricken. There is minimal thinking...and usually further spreading of rumors (e.g., “I heard that...”) that incite further panic...a spooked herd mentality. That then reinforces their panic...and so forth.
Whatever happened to reasonable people, people that have reasoned decisions and people willing to take the basic risk of living without turning into a pile of jello at every possibility of heightened risk?
At times like these, common sense goes out the window
When I grow up I want a house just like Monks.
Someone should do a parody of Monk and Sharona, dodging all the human poop on the streets of San Francisco.
1.7 million people are not going to die from this in the United States
Swine flue only 500K worldwide and 13K here in the US.
11 cases excluding the nursing home in Washington state isn’t really a lot. And this was 11 cases over 3 months. Sure it is still a concern.
The National Guard Is Responding to COVID-19 Coronavirus National EmergencyBy Eric Francis
Updated Mar 13, 2020 at 1:16pm
"National Guard units in 54 states and territories as well as the Federal Emergency Management Agency are gearing up to assist with the declaration of a “National Emergency” by President Trump which is expected to occur Friday afternoon as the United States tries to mitigate the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus across the country.
“As of this morning, about 400 Air and Army National Guard professionals in six states – Florida, Iowa, Louisiana, New York, Rhode Island and Washington – are providing personnel in support of civil authority at the direction of their governors in response to COVID-19. As other states are requested to support civil authorities, those numbers will change rapidly. By the end of the day we expect that number to approach 1,000,” spokeswoman April Cunningham of the National Guard Bureaus said over the noon hour on Friday, adding that so far “Thirty-three states have declared emergencies in response to the spread of COVID-19.”
Each state’s National Guard units act independently under the control of their state’s governor and earlier this week the governors of New York, Rhode Island, Florida and Puerto Rico called up approximately 50 Air and Army National Guard professionals to address COVID-19 responses and placed them on “State Active Duty” which is an on-duty status this is paid for by the individual states."

And all of those comments are 100% true!
Same here. I put on a wide brimmed hat and warm jacket for my walk in a light rain today.
One thing the press conference is revealing is the urgent need for testing — testing of the media for signs of TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome). This disease seems to be the opposite of COVID-19, it strikes the young more than the old, and your greatest chance of catching it would be isolating yourself from normal people.
I hope that a test for TDS can be developed and that the people who suffer from it can get the help they need. They should be in quarantine until after the election to prevent these symptoms from spreading.
As for the Canadian media response to Trudeau (who has done nothing much more than sound concerned), it goes deeper than just being “on the same team.” During the recent election, the Canadian media were more or less paid off to give the government good coverage (it was disguised as an economic stimulus), and they know that to receive more of these bribes they need to avoid sharp criticism of the Liberal government. Also, more so than in the U.S., health issues are seen as provincial responsibilities and a lot of the focus on response has been on the provincial government officials — the only area that our federal government would get involved in would be travel bans and unless I’ve missed something today, we have fewer of those in place.
Criticism of Trudeau is quite widespread on Canadian social media and alternative news sites. So it is out there. But as I say, most of the decision making is at the provincial level, and that would include testing, that would be rolled out province by province if it happens here. Ontario has announced an extension of the normal March school break into the first week of April. Other provinces may do the same but it has not yet happened in British Columbia.
Ordered my backup plan bidet on Amazon. Juuuuust in case...and I kinda want to have an excuse to buy one.
