"President Donald Trump said he will suspend all travel from Europe to the U.S. for the next 30 days, the most far-reaching measure yet in the administrations efforts to combat the spread of coronavirus."

Unfortunately, travel insurance isn’t worth the paper it’s written on. If you read the policy for what is actually covered, it isn’t much.
President Trumps speech was excellent both as to substance & delivery & I would urge congressional & media Dems, as well as NeverTrumpers, to finally get behind his efforts & that of his admin, to address the coronavirus, rather than trying to continue to rip this country apart— Mark R. Not the same. Flash, Sulphur and feeze points differ.
A 42-gallon barrel of crude oil yields about 20 gallons of gasoline and about 16 gallons of other distillates. Of the distillates, about 4 gallons are jet fuel, while the rest are heating oil and diesel fuel.
It's continental Europe that has the travel ban.
Mexico has been very ilent Orion and deaths. Likely postponing full closure of US border.
You know, I never cease to be amazed that people can hear the same thing clearly spoken and 20 different people will claim they heard it 20 different ways. I’m not criticizing you, I just happened to be paging up after reading multiple interpretations of the same thing.
Sigh...politics shouldn’t play a role, should it? EU has open borders and UK does not. Understand?
I must of lucked out, I got a full refund.
Good! Thank you President Trump for taking action to protect Americans. Drudge headline screamed 80% chance of Corona virus in Germany. Italy has an awful situation with the Corona virus pandemic.
The EU open borders policy is a threat to Americans if members of EU countries were to come to the U.S. 30 day shutdown is good, maybe the shutdown of EU travel will be extended.
Then some British travel businesses will benefit if Americans (or Euros residing in U.S.) wanting to travel to Europe can go to London, then fly, take a ferry or drive thru the Chunnel to go to the Old Continent.
I doubt it. Israel sports clubs may participate in European leagues but Israel is in Asia (an not an EU member).
Boeing is a huge chunk of the Dow.
Who knows how many other viruses and bacteria, that are constantly lurking in some jungle creatures, will eventually jump to humans?
Wow, incredible. Pretty soon they will be PAYING you to go.
You know, if you are one of the few that caught this bug early, this summer might be a great time to take in as many cruises as you can at dirt cheap prices.
Yeah, I know there are a few anecdotal claims that people have been "reinfected", but that does not appear to be the case. Soon enough, we will know for sure.
Btw, everything is political when it comes to the Democrats. Understand?
LOL
Yep, the military is already deployed at the southern border.
And the rest of the EU doesn't have open borders with non-EU countries - the only open borders are within the schengen zone
Go look at the Uk stat’s....they have an extremely low infection number and the death number is presently at 6. No one can say if it’s genetics, rate of smoking, or just plain luck.
However, it would not take much for a German to fly over to the UK...spend a night, and then take an afternoon flight into NY City. I expect this to be the norm for the next four weeks, and UK flights are filled to the brim.
Since we already have community spread in a few (several?) parts of the country, it may be too late. Why he did not ban travel from Italy sooner is a mystery.
