When do I get to pet the rabbits Rod?
Good. Retire this useless swamp creature.

Sessions was the first elected official anywhere to endorse Trump.
Good for him. Now give him a cookie and send him to bed.

Tommy Tuberville (@TTuberville) is running for the U.S. Senate from the Great State of Alabama. Tommy was a terrific head football coach at Auburn University. He is a REAL LEADER who will never let MAGA/KAG, or our Country, down! Tommy will protect your Second Amendment....

Coincidence?
Yep. Needed a lion as AG and got a lamb.
Wow, that is a flat out endorsement for Tuberville from POTUS. Sessions is done.
Do either you think he was compromised in some way?
Or just gutless?
“Makes you wonder if Sessions was the insurance policy that they talked about.”
Sessions knew all along during the Presidential campaign he would stab Trump in the back. The question is why?
Good, Sessions should never have run again.
I dont live in Alabama but, Jeff Sessions would never get my vote for anything after his performance as AG.
Nobody thought Trump would win. Therefore, I doubt Sessions had a grand plan to back stab him.
I’m not a big Sessions conspiracy guy.
I’d say Session’s going AWOL was mainly:
1)Undue respect for DOJ as an institution.
2)Senate buddies whispering in his ear about Trump.
3)Beign a yellow bellied beltway careerist.
I think Sessions just sat in the AG chair, while the left-over DOJ officials continued to run the DOJ, and they did so in some ways to protect the Obama implants there and the career deep staters that sided with Obama/Brennan/Comy/McCabe. He had a RINO attitude about the DOJ, that the career DOJ officials are all just non-partisan good guys thinking only of the best interests of the country - dangerously naive.
Agree. I believe it was intentional. It is sad so many make excuses for him.
The very fact people makes excuses for the extremely poor job Sessions did in his last post should be evident he should not get another.
“Yeah - I voted for Byrne also.”
I never (at least on FR) heard anyone say anything bad about Byrne. His voting record seemed conservative enough.
Why didn’t he make the runoff? Was it because there were bigger names on the ballot - Tuberville and Sessions?
Or was there some other reason?
This is bad. We need somebody in the Senate with a strong stand against more immigration and no amnesty ever.
Ping to the state list.
