WASHINGTON - Attorney General William Barr has told people close to President Donald Trump - inside and outside the White House - that he is considering quitting over Trump's tweets about Justice Department investigations, three administration officials said, foreshadowing a possible confrontation between the president and his attorney general over the independence of the Justice Department.
So far, Trump has defied Barr's requests, both public and private, to keep quiet on matters of federal law enforcement. It was not immediately clear Tuesday whether Barr had made his posture known directly to Trump. The administration officials said Barr seemed to be sharing his position with advisers in hopes that the president would get the message that he should stop weighing in publicly on the Justice Department's ongoing criminal investigations.
"He has his limits," said one person familiar with Barr's thinking, speaking on the condition of anonymity, like others, to discuss internal deliberations.

He didn’t address the rumor though. Not having a plan to resign isn’t same as telling somebody he was thinking about resigning.
I think Barr leaked this to someone expected of being a leaker BAM caught!!! Trump and Barr are actively starting to PURGE these people!!! MSM hair on fire!!!
Some pretty significant people are trying hard to break the relationship between Trump and Barr....moreso to stop Barr from his investigations.....He’s getting to close for their comfort.

The WaPo reporter - @mattzap - pushing the Barr quitting story. Is the same reporter who lied that the altered Carter Page FISA evidence (CIA/Clinesmith) didn’t affect the validity of the FISA application. (It did.)

You are so right! Think about what the results of the President’s tweet were:
1. A jury Forman in Judge Jackson’s court was psychologically compelled (derangement) to out herself with possible legal consequences and no question that a fair trail took place, and...
2. Four, count them, 4 sleazeball swamp critters resigned thinking people would find them virtuous!!! LOL
In my satisfied opinion getting rid of 5 swamp rats with one tweet is a very efficient use of the President’s time. More please!!!
Actually it’s a mistake to believe much of the news today. Hot into the election season doesn’t help as that in itself is cut-throat. What we see and hear is nothing to the barbaric natures working behind the scenes.

Barr doesnt run the show. POTUS does. POTUS is top law enforcment officer in the nation.
A shame if true - Barr has been a huge improvement over Jeff Sessions. But he knew about Trump’s tweeting habit before he took the job - it’s nothing new and he has to realize the value of Trump’s ability to bypass the MSM filter and get his views to the public directly. Barr has no right to demand that Trump stop a basic feature of his presidential communication methods.
This seems weird. If Barr is that sensitive maybe he should quit. He certainly hasn’t delivered any justice.
