During a Monday morning phone conversation, the Virginia State Police public relations department did not rule out knocking doors to enforce a suppressor ban.
Breitbart News called the Virginia State Police and noted Democrats are passing legislation to ban various firearm accessories. We specifically mentioned the suppressor ban which is currently moving through the state legislature and asked if, Virginia State Police will go door-to-door to get those.
The public relations official did not respond with a direct answer yes or no on going door-to-door. Rather, she said, [No laws] have gone into effect, no laws have been formalized or finalized.
She said they do not, do the speculation because nothings been passed into formal law, but made clear that their job is to enforce and comply with the laws once they are on the books.

This is how commies try to start a fight, and claim it’s for a good cause, and it’s the right thing to do.
Gee - this is where registration leads...
First of all, how do they know who owns what? Surely they wouldn’t be snooping into firearms purchases records now would they?
When the first LEO gets shot for trying to confiscate, the war will have started.
Going door to door to confiscate legally purchased and Constitutionally protected items???
What could possibly go wrong?????
Are they going to knock on EVERY door?
Federal tax stamp data is likely available to them.
I no longer have my suppressor. It failed and I disposed of it.

“Why no, officer, I don’t have a suppressor. Just this decorative lamp finial that happens to be the precise size, shape and weight of a suppressor.”
And the officer goes back to headquarters and said...
You wouldn’t believe how many boating accidents guns owners have.
Do they have a plan to disarm the criminals, or just the law-abiding citizens? I think I know the answer to that question.
“Going door to door to confiscate legally purchased and Constitutionally protected items???”
Nothing says more clearly that you have a cabal of tyrants who consider the Constitution a dead document than conducting police searches under a general warrant.
Resist!
“First of all, how do they know who owns what?”
Actually it’s super easy, barely an inconvenience. Purchasing a suppressor requires Tax stamps, ATF approvals, FFL records, etc. I’m sure the State authorities can get their hands on them since it’s for such a good cause and will prevent the vast number of suppressor involved murders.
If this is what state police are going to do, then let’s not have state police anymore.
If this is what government is going to do, then let’s not have government anymore.
+1.
They'll be backed up by F-15s with Hellfire missiles tied* to them....
* tied, because nobody told Joe F-15s have no capability to mount them...
Which Rat POTUS condidate told us he would go door to door to do this?
Yes
What are the legislature and the governor trying to accomplish. If they are trying to reduce crime, then why not spend the limited resources of the law enforcement agencies to go door to door searching the residences of felons and confiscate any firearms in their possession? There is already a law in place prohibiting felons from having guns. Because it is not about crime prevention and public safety—it is about tyranny.
