Rush Limbaugh speculates in his show today that with Democrats in total disarray, they will be looking for someone who is acceptable, a "moderate" who will siphon votes from Republicans.

Since none of their leading candidates can win, ROMNEY MIGHT SWITCH PARTIES TO BECOME THE ACCEPTABLE DEMOCRAT NOMINEE !!

I think it's far fetched, but there it is.

I don't think Dems would want him. They might accept him as a VP nominee. More likely, someone would fund a run by him as a third party candidate in an effort to siphon off votes, like with McMuffin.

Romney might go the third party route.

“”The president delayed funds for an American ally at war with Russian invaders,” Romney said in a speech on the Senate floor ...

Romney wrote in his wife’s name on the ballot in 2016. “

Obviously Romney’s failure to vote for Trump in 2016 had nothing to do with Ukraine which is a more recent situation.

But what if God tells him that it's the right thing to do, for the sake of Romney's children?

Romney's nuts.

One can look at this statement from several different directions.Pierre Delecto, who has brought Massachusetts values to the great State of Utah, will be voting for the Rat candidate,as will a large majority of Massachusetts voters.

And Pierre Delecto, who spends most of his nights sleeping in DC,or one of DC's Maryland or Virginia suburbs, will be voting for the Rat Candidate,as will a large majority of voters living within a 50 mile radius of DC.

But OTOH,Pierre Delecto...who claims to currently represent the wishes of Utah's voters...will,in voting for the Rat candidate,be very much in the minority of Utah's voters in November.

We already knew that he would not vote for Trump. He is so jealous that Trump beat him that he cannot live with it. The man has too much estogen in his system. Otherwise, he would let it go.

>>>”The president delayed funds for an American ally at war with Russian invaders,” Romney said in a speech on the Senate floor. “The president’s purpose was personal and political<<<

Well, since that didn’t actually happen, I guess Benedict McRomney made a grievous error in Judgment, much like the People of Utah that Elected him their Senator.

Why not go down as the first person to be beat down in a Presidential election as a member of TWO different national parties?

Who cares? I’m sure he didn’t vote for Trump in 2016 either. Nothing lost.

I think this scenario is far fetched. No dem candidate can come close to beating Trump one on one. One on one Romney can't come close to beating Trump.

BUT if there is a Dem candidate like Bernie Sanders and Romney decides to run independent with the DNC's blessing and money then between them they may shave enough electoral votes from Trump not necessarily with the goal of beating him but simply to be able to say for 4 years that he barely won the last election and that he doesn't have a mandate to do what he wants. That won't stop Trump but it will give them something to crow about.

It’s not going to be Romney. The first two rounds of the Rat convention will end up with no candidate getting the majority of votes. It will then go to a brokered convention and Bloomberg will buy the candidacy for himself or Hillary.

Romney didn’t vote for Trump in 2016, so why would anyone think he was going to vote for Trump in 2020?
