On Thursday, a Texas court ruled in favor of Jeff Younger, the father of James Younger, the seven-year-old whose pediatrician mother was attempting to medically transition her son into a girl.
Dallas Judge Mary Brown upheld an October decision that gave both parents conservatorship over their child and denied the mother’s request that the case revert to the October 21 11-1 jury decision that gave her sole managing conservatorship. That decision was later overruled by Judge Kim Cooks, who ruled that conservatorship would be split evenly between both parents.
But then the mother, Dr. Anne Georgulas, and her attorneys argued that Cooks had acted improperly by posting an article about the case on her Facebook page, prompting Cooks to be summarily recused from the case.,
The Daily Mail noted, “In November it was revealed the youngster had decided to attend school this year as a boy. In a post from the Facebook page ‘Save James,’ pictures of James dressed in a button down shirt, slacks and tennis shoes were shared online. The caption read: ‘Going to school. This is what it looks like when JAMES gets to choose! *Affirm this! * Also, a photo taken yesterday, just before church. James and Jude proud to be men! Save James, save thousands of children!’”
Georgulas and Younger were in 2010 and underwent in vitro fertilization to have twins; they requested the babies to be male. Georgulas later brought James to see a gender therapist at the Children’s Hospital Center, where she claimed he had wanted a girls’ toy from McDonald’s and then started imitating the female characters from Disney’s Frozen and asking to wear dresses, as The Texan reported.

Praise God but I fear if they have joint custody, she will never give up her attempts to make him a girl until he’s 18. This is one doctor who needs to have their practice stripped, every bit as much as a child abuser or child rapist.

How ludicrous. Just because a boy shows an interest in a stereotypically girls' toy does not mean he "identifies" as a girl. The "transgender" ideology does more to reinforce gender stereotypes than any so-called patriarchy could ever hope to achieve. A girl who likes construction toys MUST identify as a boy; a boy who likes toy kitchens MUST identify as a girl. Ugh.
A few days ago, a woman told me how her four year old son likes to bake. I told her that it sounds like he is on his way to becoming a master chef. I guess the politically correct thing would have been to tell her it sounds like he "identifies" as a girl and that he should be placed on hormones right away.
Destroy the boy's life, permanently, based on this flimsy observation and sick bias.

Sometimes people don’t know. I took a kid to a pediatrician who was later arrested for drug abuse. Nobody told me but they sure let me know after he was arrested that “everyone knew”.
Mrs. Don-o, years ago the question was raised, "If parents could predetermine their child's sex by a morally acceptable means - more Vitamin A before conception, or something - what would be wrong with that?"
I pointed out that, if want a child to be a particular sex, it's because you have expectations about some benefit to yourself from one sex over the other. You have a vision of how what that child will be like and do before he or she is even conceived.
Then, when reality is inevitably not what you expected, to a greater or lesser extent, you're far more invested in opposing your vision over the child's (or young adult's) reality than you would be if the sex was just whatever showed up.
It didn't cross my mind, then, that the same kind of parent who chooses to have a son could then change her mind and decide that the son "is really a girl." Exponentially increases levels of madness ...
I agree with you that transgenders are taking “liberalism” into the dark ages. I thought the 90s or something brought us this “pink” isn’t just for girls, etc. shift.
I had much older brothers and grew up on a ranch. Give me those tractor-trailers, any day of the week. I would load my cats and haul them around. I had a Barbie or two, but they stayed in the closet; I wanted to be outside in the dirt with the animals.
My daughter on the other hand, would be described as very girlish, she loved doing stereotypical girl things. And both she and I shared a love of reading, bookish.
Each child is unique in how their brains work, having nothing to do with gender expression.
Child is going to be a confused mess no matter what at this point. His mother is forcing femininity and his father is forcing masculinity. To top it off, both sides are using this case for political reasons.
What the child actually wants is being lost in this entire thing.
