AMEN. Turnout in November is going to be EPIC.
I just can’t see the senate sitting there 6 days a week for all the litigation that is sure to come. The president’s team needs to suggest that they will fight tooth and nail no matter how long it takes.
If there is a tie, the proposal fails (it’s defeated).
If I were McConnell trying to whip votes, I'd do a Jeffords and tell Joe Manchin that he can have his pick of Collins' committee assignments if he switches and votes with Republicans for West Virginia.
Then move to primary Collins in Maine. It's probably too late for that in 2020 for Collins, but strip her of a committee assignment and tell her to go to the Democrats if she doesn't like it. Then let her find out how much freedom to act she has on that side of the aisle.

The media of course want this to go on and on it gives them something to report on!!!

The Ribbon of Following the Crowd. Just because it seems cool. Or you don’t want to stand apart from those who DEMAND we all walk in lock-step. Where group think means everything and individual think is mocked and rejected.
In other words, following dems. because they yell the loudest and you don’t have to know anything, you just have to show up and be obnoxious.
FOX constantly plays clips of Schumer, Schiff and Romney. I’m so sick of FOX.
Senators don’t want to be trapped in impeachment purgatory. This is the strongest reason for wrapping things up.
As long as the Senate sits as a court of impeachment, it can’t conduct any other business.
If Collins (Senator from Maine) gets voted out,
that seat will more than likely go to a democrat.
Romney is already on the path to be a one-term Senator.
I don't think Collins would go that far, but she will play both sides until the final vote, which makes it extremely difficult for Republicans to form a unified front.

On Nov. 21, Graham — the chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee — asked Secretary of State Mike Pompeo to release documents related to contacts between Joe Biden, Hunter Biden, and former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko.
An angry Biden reacted by telling CNN that “Lindsey is about to go down in a way that I think he’s going to regret his whole life.”
Biden told left-wing opinion host Don Lemon: “I am disappointed and angered. He knows me. He knows my son. He knows there’s nothing to this. Trump is now essentially holding power over him that even the Ukrainians wouldn’t yield to.”
Biden then admitted that the Ukrainians never launched an investigation into his alleged self-dealings as Obama’s vice president.
Keep in mind that Democrats claim that President Trump had pressured Ukraine to investigate Biden during a July phone call.
Both the Ukrainian president and its foreign minister denied that Trump pressured them to do anything.
Biden said: “The Ukrainians would not yield to ‘investigate Biden.’ There’s nothing to investigate about Biden or his son. Lindsey is about to go down in a way that I think he’s going to regret his whole life.”
I’m loving the fact that the GOP had not one but TWO women - both great - presenting today. The Dems?...Err...
Not really. The DNC put them on notice by withholding candidate events. Fox is now very, very, busy trying to kiss their butts, and prove they are one of them so they can get back in their good graces.
If Lindsey is smart he will go to President Trump and tell him what Biden is threatening. Trump will protect him.
