But if we pick up Manchin, it's an even swap with perhaps a more reliable Senator.

And if Manchin has to leave for some reason, West Virginia is more likely to vote for a Republican than Maine is.

McConnell won't put on the pressure, though, because Collins is the "senior female Republican Senator," and McConnell would run away from the MSM accusing him of getting rid of the senior woman, no matter how unreliable for the caucus she may be.
