At some point the Rino’s have to be punished or more will appear.

If I were McConnell trying to whip votes, I'd do a Jeffords and tell Joe Manchin that he can have his pick of Collins' committee assignments if he switches and votes with Republicans for West Virginia.

Then move to primary Collins in Maine. It's probably too late for that in 2020 for Collins, but strip her of a committee assignment and tell her to go to the Democrats if she doesn't like it. Then let her find out how much freedom to act she has on that side of the aisle.

that seat will more than likely go to a democrat.

I am now starting to think that Bernie may well become the democrat nominee if this continues. Not sure how he would fare with real democrats or if the party would force feed them Bloomberg or Hilary.
