I don’t go for conspiracy theories much, but Schiff’s behavior is so inexplicable I really do suspect he is being blackmailed. When a person goes as far into something as he has, there’s got to be a reason and having something hanging over his head makes more sense to me than just hatred of Trump.

Any Senator who votes to remove is throwing whatever principles they might have once had as well as their intellect and reputation into the trash bin, and hopefully their constituents will hold them accountable. Even some who don’t like or support Trump realize this is not normal behavior. Who’d want to be represented by someone so blind, no matter what the issue?

Look at these people! Their attention spans are a fraction of what composed the Senate during Clinton's impeachment trial.

The Turtle has played this timetable brilliantly, adhering to his team's advice to make the trial days intolerably LONG.

He went for the impossible (post-midnight deliberations) and then appeared magnanimous to settle today for what still will be innumerably LONG days just like this one!

There are young Senators who will freak out and vote whatever just to move the damn thing along to dismissal. It's a hella strategy, it's brinksmanship, but it's already working.
