"And what they're really terrified of is the very significant evidence of real corruption. "

They're equals the Uniparty.

Of course Hunter can be a witness.

If Trump’s team can demonstrate that there is reasonable suspicion (not proof) that Hunter was involved in criminal activity with Bursima, in effect indicting him, then that provides more than enough standing for Trump to initiate measures to persuade Ukraine to investigate Hunter - regardless of whether, and actually in the national interest because, Joe Biden is running for President. This process would need only meet grand jury standards, not legal conviction.

At this moment, all we can do is trust the experience in these constitutional matters to those like Senator Cruz and Paul, etc.

I mentioned to my wife that it is a shame that Cruz could not have been on the POTUS defense team since he is a member of the Senate. But I suppose the sparks will fly plenty enough with the present POTUS defense team.

I dont see this getting to the calling up of witnesses. Its gonna be over as soon as the house managers bumble their act and the senate goes-”WTH? GET OUTTA HERE!”

Well, gee, they should have thought of that before they rammed through a phony impeachment.

I expect Senator Cruz to be point man during this circus.

If he uses his God given ability to make the complex way the commies try to present their case simple so they can be exposed and on display for everyone to see, I’ll forever forgive him for the Beck and Carly Fiorina stunts.

This is crunch time and those who profess to be Constitutional purists better step up to the plate and knock it out of the park.

Nadless and Schiff for brains are right, the senate is on trail here. They had better do the right thing and follow the law.

I do not wish or hope to but I will fight for our County our Constitution and Liberty if these guys don’t do there job properly.

We can end the speculation about Lindsey here shortly.

Time to support our Constitution and crush these traitors and seditionists.

Marsha Blackburn was on F&F this morning. She mentioned the "whistleblower" as a possible witness.

If Schiff & Co. continue to try to hide the whistleblower's name, they can just subpoena Eric Ciaramella.

President Zelensky might be another good witness.

You mean, like all of the Democrat & Republican wives & children and relatives all getting cushy jobs where they do next to nothing, can't get fired and make awesome salaries? I hope so....

Why should we need any evidence? They never need any evidence to slander our side and our president. That never stops them.

We are blessed beyond measure that Cruz appears (for now) to be massively in Trump’s camp and all on board with literally everything we need to get done.

He was a bit critical of him in the last elections and wasn’t really all in until more recently.

It’s a good thing, absolutely.

Paul, I don’t trust him. I respect those who can hold strict Libertarian views, but we’ve got corruption and rot at the heart of our government. This impeachment shouldn’t be happening at all. Lending legitimacy to the process is very noble but that’s predicated on the process having not been utterly perverted in the first place.

Impeachment IS political. If it’s not strong enough to make both parties immediately “do what must be done” then it’s not worthy of impeachment and never should have been initiated.

I want to see an enterprising investigative journalist list SPOUSE names and places of employment for every member of the House, Senate, Judiciary, and members of the press corps.

The pillow talk in DC must be exposed. Crooks....

Cruz found out what New York politics is. Nasty and all that.

That campaign season did not shock me.
