The FBI, the FISA Court, and every other agency involved in Federal law enforcement deserve less respect than child molesters and arsonists. I wouldn’t contact any of them even if I had credible information about a potential terrorist attack here in the U.S.
Only the most naive among us can’t see that the fix is in and that our government can’t be reformed.

Trump very much needs to step up already and make some changes. There’s no downside to firing Wray at this time, and there’s a few others in need of canning as well. I’m getting a bit exhausted with his twitter complaints without action. He’s the president. These people serve at his pleasure. Congress is going to have a conniption no matter what he does. He needs to be bold and do it.

Right. I think if he puts a new head in place, like FBI, perhaps there is no way to fire the employees under him. Not sure. It is maddening how no one gets fired or arrested and in fact, they mock him with their findings of no illegality each time.

FISA should be repealed. Whether or not it’s needed to defend our country against foreign threats, at the moment by far our most dangerous adversaries are our domestic enemies. That includes far too many members of the deep state, and they are manipulating the FISA system.
Exactly. WE are the victims, but all Trump seems to do is complain that he is the victim when he is the guy with all the power.
FISA authorization sunsets in a few short months so the entire FISA court turns back into a pumpkin at the stroke of midnight unless Congress votes reauthorization and the President does not veto.
Thinking the way Trump has been treated at the Ball, he ain't exactly gonna be out searching with a glass slipper for Cinderella when it comes to the FISA court.

I keep reading that the FISC selected him but courts don’t make selections, people do. And isn’t the FISC under Chief Justice Roberts’ authority? Does he have a role in the selection?
