I call BS. We would have the people but they don’t stand a chance when they are being systematically discriminated against. I see plenty of millennials everyday at Starbucks that bust their a$$ for probably not that great rate of pay. Many big companies have Indians in upper and middle management now and they only hire primarily other Indians. I am in IT and there are many stories of Americans getting displaced (losing their jobs) to Indians. It happened to one of my customers last year.

I don’t think Japanese companies are interested in hiring Starbuck’s employees.

I wouldn’t even want to hire them.

I get that they are being discriminated against. They also have no skills or knowledge about anything useful, and they are incredibly self centered and obnoxious.

Does that apply to all of them? Nope. But I’d say it’s a damn large percentage of them.

“It seems like he was helping out Establishment senators by supporting this.”

What do you think impeachment is REALLY about? It gives the Establishment leverage over him. He has to play their game or they vote against him - I truly believe this kind of blackmail is being used against him by a number of Republican senators.

“You’ve seen Millennials.

Do we have the people?”

Yes. Don’t diss Americans. I have a gifted nephew who was recently forced to train EIGHT foreign workers to replace him. The company can pay them less, and doesn’t have to pay Social Security taxes. Stop parotting the talking points of these corporate chiselers. They’re not for America First, you - and Trump - should be.

I’m not parroting any talking points.

Where would I get talking points from?

I’m just telling you my opinion of several generations of young people, which are the type of people companies hire.

But okay, whatever you say, man.

We have the smartest, most capable young people ever, obviously, who could possibly conclude anything else.

Are you a supervisor who has hired anyone?

Do you know any American students in engineering or tech programs? I do. It sounds like you don’t.

This issue concerns IT workers of all ages. And an increasing number of young people are choosing IT majors.

The problem is that, not only are foreign workers imported here to take IT jobs, but also many jobs are exported to other countries.

Example: https://www.bls.gov/ooh/computer-and-information-technology/computer-programmers.htm#tab-6

Laura’s point was that foreign tech workers aren’t smarter than American tech workers; they’re just willing to work for less.

Aren’t you tired of American companies shipping jobs overseas? And bringing in foreign workers to replace American workers?

I voted for Trump and will vote for him again. Some of us just wish he’d see this issue for what it really is.

Seemed like Laura is going all “Ann Coulter”...everyone wants exactly what they want w/o any thoughts to the realities and keep slapping at the guy who, against enormous odds, has been working on his promises.

Yes, I am tired of everything that you mentioned.

I also can’t fault a company for wanting to hire someone who was not indoctrinated in America.

I don’t know that I agree with Laura’s point that foreign workers aren’t smarter.

It may be that they are smarter and are willing to work for less.

I’ll leave that question unanswered.

I’ll say this.

On the last engineering position that I worked on, an Iranian was hired to fill it.

He was head and shoulders smarter than anyone else who even applied. Wasn’t even close, he was genius level.

And he was gay.

I wrote him this...but first assured him he had 4 votes from my family.

Doesn’t the FBICIADOJSWAMP ultimately report to the president?

Help me understand why all the “investigations” always and forever find nothing and no one gets fired?

Drain the swamp?

I have caught them all?

Yes. ...Nothing wrong with her bringing up the subject, but her constant interruptions and screeching that wouldn’t allow him to complete his answers was VERY RUDE and she came across as another Hannity (who interrupts everyone).

Hannity doesn’t interrupt Mark Levin, either.

He should interrupt Geraldo often, or shut off his mike.

Ingraham spent her entire career, over 30 years in Wash. DC.
She is very swamp like.

In her swamp mode, she made a fool of herself in a clip that has been played over and over this morning on Fox News.

They done her in

**********************************************
That would be the charlatans who run the high schools and colleges that brainwash the kids into stupid degree plans and liberal thinking.

The kids spend thousands of dollars to get a degree in some crap “studies” and go in debt for years, but are seldom qualified for an entry level job that could lead to a career.

I retired as a professional in the Quality discipline for 30+ years. A basic tenet was to find the root cause of a problem and fix it.

The root cause of today’s younger generations not being qualified for specific fields of employment is America’s educational system and the unions and liberal administrators. OVERHAUL THE SYSTEM!

Yes, that’s exactly right.

Sadly, in the meantime, we have a large swath of American young people who aren’t very employable.

If everyone opts for an education in IT this country will cease to exist.

Plumbers, electricians, welders and many other neede vocations/professions can easily earn ~$75-100k a year and they wont have huge student debts.

I admit I’m an oldster, but I believe it’s wrong to push so many towards IT jobs, as only a few will make the big bucks, while the rest will become little more than clerks in the industry.
