DUBAI (Reuters) - Iran is not seeking escalation or war, Iranian Foreign Minister tweeted after Tehran hit U.S. targets in Iraq on Wednesday, adding that Tehran would defend itself against any aggression.

If Iran was a dog, it would be rolled over on its back exposing its belly. Face saved, ready to behave (for the time being.) Intentionally ineffective attack complete, and the new US reality now in place.
So they punch us and say “cant hit me I’m wearing glasses”
Save face moment..this way they can tell their people “See we attacked US forces, we got our retaliation” reminds me of impeachment, yeah yeah we impeached Trump so our whack job base can think we accomplished something

Democrats and the liberal media are very upset at this statement from Iran. They WANT war.
They would like nothing better than a full scale all out bloody war with US casualties, so that they can blame President Trump.
Iran doesn’t want a revolution. That’s the threat.
Brett Baird is saying Iran did not hit the areas where American Servicemen were known to be residing. I hope that’s true. Maybe Iran just wants an appearance of furious retaliation. Today’s version of Saber Rattling.
If they missed the densely populated areas, they did so on purpose.

pound em, not enough abibi to play war, you get what you deserve..no missles ever, your religion is terrorist, heck no..pound the hell out of government heads , military sites, oil fields for 2 days..
I don’t care if it is a deliberate miss..
If they fired 15+ missiles at US troops, that is an action that requires further, disportionate response, not al “all is well.”

Their accuracy is not less than 1/4 mile.
They cannot hit, or miss on purpose.
Their intent was to damage as much as the could, and to kill.
I agree but it’s still an aggressive action. My only problem with accepting the face saving is Iran wants to save face and be permitted to continue expanding throughout the Middle East.
