Pope Francis has lashed out at a worshipper in an attempt to free his arm from her grip during a visit to a Nativity scene in St Peter's Square.
He delighted tourists on New Year's Eve when he took a stroll through the Square, but he was taken by surprise as he was dragged back by a woman eager to hold his hand.
Francis exclaimed and then struck the woman's hand twice to free himself.
Oh my!
Did you see the video of him repeatedly pulling his hand back when a line of pilgrims in Italy tried to kiss his ring?!

He never seems to mind heads of state, or politicians touching or kissing him....

I pretty much agree...few people would like anyone to yank and pull on their arm as she did and if you slow down the video it looked like he certainly felt the yank. And after he was obviously angered by it all and I don’t blame him.
The Pope isn’t anywhere’s near Jesus....and further she ‘touched’ him, unike this woman yanking at the Pope.
But he didn’t mind washing the homeless men’s feet on Holy Thursday.
He’s not.....He’s a man like any other Leader of a church.. if people choose to give think he’s above that then that’s to their own hurt as he’s still just a clergy man.
I haven’t watched but that is TERRIBLE!!! Definitely not filled with The Holy Spirit at all. Sounds more like he is filled with the spirit of satan himself.

yes, he’s human like all people who get annyed, frustrated and angry. Perhaps cathlics need to see he’s still just another leader of a church rather than someone above that.
Yes, I was thinking of that story in God’s Word....so like our Heavenly Father...
Who was he (Pope Francis) to administer corporal punishment several times?

I step in sometimes if I think that is what is going on.
None of us would like what was done to him, done to us out of the blue.

She was Chinese and pleading with him to help the Church in China - which he has nearly destroyed by handing it over to the Communists. In addition to hitting her hands, he called her “bruja.” This is defined as “witch” in a bilingual dictionary, but in spoken Spanish means “[old] bitch” or “hag.”
So you think it’s okay for a pope or any religious or even political figure to deal with someone asking for help by hitting them and calling them a “bitch”...?
