Seriously, I am inclined to think that homo sapiens as we know him today is probably v2.0 or higher. It explains the existence of artifacts that require a high degree of technical knowledge to build. Some of these date back to before the Neanderthals.

The main thing is that using sonic drills with sound waves today, people are cutting through earth, stone, wood, etc.
