U.S. attorney John Durham issues a response to the DOJ IG report, saying his office does "not agree with some of the reports conclusions as to predication and how the FBI case was opened.
Kabuki theater. Nothing more. The elites in DC do not live by the same laws as us subjects. NOTHING will come of any of this.
Hey CNN, how does it feel to get broadsided?
I agree with you. The implications of this public statement could be enormous.
It's surreal to have a U.S. Attorney publicly contradict an internal investigation like this.
This may mean that the U.S. Attorney is pursuing a criminal investigation based on information that the IG didn't have. It might mean the IG is a target of the investigation, too.
Durham is on it folks.............
Sounds like the Commie News Network is getting nervous
My 4 year old nephew can see there was bias..the entire eavesdropping was due to bias..they knew Trump would win the election and they wanted an “Insurance policy” in case he won
See Post #17. There are enormous implications to what Durham is saying here.
Horowitz should be CHARGED with Obstruction of Justice. What he just did was CRIMINAL.
Mr. Durham says hes reached a different conclusion.
Based on the evidence collected to date, and while our investigation is ongoing, last month we advised the Inspector General that we do not agree with some of the reports conclusions as to predication and how the FBI case was opened, Mr. Durham said in a statement.
Mr. Durham noted the inspector generals authority was limited to information within the Justice Department, while his investigation found information from other persons and entities both in the U.S. and outside of the U.S.

Yawn.
releases look legitimate to me:
....When the community needs to be reassured that the appropriate law enforcement agency is investigating a matter, or where release of information is necessary to protect the public safety, comments about or confirmation of an ongoing investigation may be necessary, subject to the approval requirement in subparagraph A....

I was thinking it's like "a shot across the bow".

Durham is on it folks.............
Yep. Trust Sessions. Trust Rosenstein (he’s a white hat now.) Trust Huber. Trust Barr and Trust Durham.
“Kabuki theater. Nothing more. The elites in DC do not live by the same laws as us subjects. NOTHING will come of any of this.”
FACT.
It’s meant to keep us busy, and at each other’s throats.
I pray to God that Durham’s report is so full of direct evidence that no one will be able to wiggle their way out of his conclusions.
This is like a bomb going off in DC.
A big one.
Where’s the beef? This is more like a tree falling in a forest and nobody hearing it.
It’s surreal to have a U.S. Attorney publicly contradict an internal investigation like this.
It is also (to my knowledge) entirely unprecedented as well.
I’ll just wait until most the dust has settled.
Check back in a day or three when there is a greater consensus on what is being said and what is being meant.
At least the release was not delayed yet again.
