Acting Deputy Homeland Security Secretary Ken Cuccinelli fired back at former Maryland Gov. Martin OMalley on Thursday after the Democrat forced Cuccinelli to leave an event Thanksgiving eve, with Cuccinelli claiming O'Malley's "sad" and "shocking" outburst was so vitriolic his neck veins were "bulging."
Cuccinelli, in a lengthy statement to Fox News, recalled Wednesday nights incident, which took place at the Dublineran Irish pub on Capitol Hill where he and OMalley were attending an event with fellow graduates of Gonzaga College High School before OMalleys shame-invoking tirade forced Cuccinelli to leave.
CUCCINELLI FORCED TO LEAVE BAR AFTER BEING ASSAILED BY MARTIN O'MALLEY
I arrived at The Dubliner to meet with some of my Gonzaga classmates last night, Cuccinelli said in the statement. As I walked up to one of the bars among several in The Dubliner to order my Guinness, I heard screaming and cussing behind me to my left, which I did not immediately take notice of other than the fact that it was louder than everything else in the pub.
Cuccinelli continued: When I turned to look I saw O'Malley and he was obviously screaming at me. For a moment I thought he was trying to be funny, as we've met before, which I thought was strange. It was immediately clear that he was cursing and screaming for real, to the point of veins bulging on his neck.
Cuccinelli added that OMalley had also inspired one or two of his (apparent) buddies to join in the cussing assault, which the Trump official said he attempted to ignore. Cuccinelli said he proceeded to attempt to order at a different bar within The Dubliner, but that OMalley followed him.

FWIW, OMalley is 65 and an avid weight lifter. Hes a big dude. And he was probably drunk. He probably made the right decision walking to another part of the bar.
Why does Trump win? Because he keeps the base energized.
We would have Cuccinelli’s back if he stood up to O’Malley.
Why is everyone assuming he had to shout back? Ignore the rabid dog and let him make a fool of himself. Barring that, call the cops.
Show me an example where Trump left a venue with tail between his legs after being shouted at. That would be a proper analogy.
Fair point.
But O’Malley’s a nobody.
Only another nobody should get in a fight with him.
Not an official.
MARTIN OMALLEY = WASHED-UP HAS-BEEN!
Ken did a good job in keeping his cool and walking away from what would have been a volatile situation.
It’s disgusting that these bastards really think they have the moral high ground. What if we heckled Marty O’Malley for being pro-abortion? We should.
O’Malley always was an @$$hole.
Speaking as someone that had the misfortune to be under his rule...
Should have slapped him with a glove.
Because the Fight Club wing of FR believes that he should've done that or resorted to actual fist-fighting. Other than ignoring O'Malley and walking away, which Ken did, those were the only two options on responding to O'Malley.
Liberalism is a mental disorder. Just like transgenderism or Islam.
Yes he did.
It is a great analogy. Trump had an event in Chicago, he cancelled it. Call it out of safety concerns or whatever, but the fact of the matter is that he cancelled it rather than being the bad-ass and speaking there anyway.
Show me an example where Trump left a venue with tail between his legs after being shouted at.
I don't have any, because Trump prior to his ride down the escalator and declaring his candidacy was beloved and respected by the Left, so none of his appearances at events didn't get interrupted by shouting, barking leftists.
But don’t have any illusions that playing nice gets us anywhere in the long run.
Exactly. Escalating it would have played right into the MSM-Democrat's hands.
Why?
In Washingon you pay no attention to has-beens:
The 2016 presidential campaign of Martin O’Malley, the 61st Governor of Maryland, was formally launched on May 30, 2015. On February 1, 2016, he suspended his campaign after a poor showing in the Iowa caucuses.
