Acting Deputy Homeland Security Secretary Ken Cuccinelli fired back at former Maryland Gov. Martin OMalley on Thursday after the Democrat forced Cuccinelli to leave an event Thanksgiving eve, with Cuccinelli claiming O'Malley's "sad" and "shocking" outburst was so vitriolic his neck veins were "bulging."
Cuccinelli, in a lengthy statement to Fox News, recalled Wednesday nights incident, which took place at the Dublineran Irish pub on Capitol Hill where he and OMalley were attending an event with fellow graduates of Gonzaga College High School before OMalleys shame-invoking tirade forced Cuccinelli to leave.
CUCCINELLI FORCED TO LEAVE BAR AFTER BEING ASSAILED BY MARTIN O'MALLEY
I arrived at The Dubliner to meet with some of my Gonzaga classmates last night, Cuccinelli said in the statement. As I walked up to one of the bars among several in The Dubliner to order my Guinness, I heard screaming and cussing behind me to my left, which I did not immediately take notice of other than the fact that it was louder than everything else in the pub.
Cuccinelli continued: When I turned to look I saw O'Malley and he was obviously screaming at me. For a moment I thought he was trying to be funny, as we've met before, which I thought was strange. It was immediately clear that he was cursing and screaming for real, to the point of veins bulging on his neck.
Cuccinelli added that OMalley had also inspired one or two of his (apparent) buddies to join in the cussing assault, which the Trump official said he attempted to ignore. Cuccinelli said he proceeded to attempt to order at a different bar within The Dubliner, but that OMalley followed him.

Why didn’t he stand up to him in the pub, instead of running away like a typical Republican coward?
“Why didnt he stand up to him in the pub, instead of running away like a typical Republican coward?”
An acting Deputy secretary in ANY administration taking the bait of a likely intoxicated loud mouth from the opposing party is not only not advisable, it’s imbecilic.
Dems have zero class. and O’Malley is a loon.
Yeah, they would have gotten it on video then selectively released whatever would make Cuccineli look bad.
In case you haven’t noticed, the Rats have declared War.
Time to start acting like there is one.
As if playing nice gets Pubbies anywhere.
Trump is showing Republicans how to win but not everybody is up to taking the lessons.
Exactly. Hasn’t Trump taught them anything?
Do you really want to get arrested for assault or disorderly conduct for punching back at a Democrat has-been loser loud-mouth?
Cucinelli did the smart thing by walking away.
Who said Cuccinelli had to do anything like that?
But running away isn’t the answer, neither.
“Why didnt he stand up to him in the pub, instead of running away like a typical Republican coward?”
EXACTLY! With COWARDS like that, who needs a republic? MOFO COWARD ALERT!
There's a time and place for everything.
That was out of consideration of others.
No one would have been in harm’s way in Cuccinelli stayed.
Even shouting back at O'Malley would have been bad optics.
The guy's a total loser, why even engage in him?
In wars, there are arrays of weapons. You choose that which fits the situation. O’Malley wants to act like a loud-mouthed leftard lout, you let him, and make political hay out of it yourself. “How sad.” “How uncivil.” You slug him one, and suddenly you’re going viral on twitter, and even if you win, they make it sound like you started it, and it spills into CNN. Then they’re badgering Trump on the way to the helicopter “Mr. President! Mr. President! Are you going to fire Mr. Cuccinelli for his violent conduct?”
Screw optics!
The only people who would have been upset never vote for Republicans anyway.
A DC bar (therefore one full of idiots)
No place to get in a shouting match with an idiot.
Be prepared.
