MANCHESTER, N.H. Former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg officially entered the 2020 race Sunday, ending several weeks of will-he-or-wont-he speculation about a late entry into the already-crowded Democratic primary.
Bloombergs entry was preceded by news of a massive television ad buy $31 million, according to Advertising Analytics, who told NBC News it was the single largest single week expenditure theyd ever tracked. A $30 million buy in the final weeks of the 2012 race for then-President Barack Obama held the previous record.
The ad promotes Bloomberg's record as mayor and then promises "to rebuild the country and restore faith in the dream that defines us: where the wealthy will pay more in taxes and the middle class get their fair share; everyone without health insurance can get it and everyone who likes theirs, keep it; where jobs won't just help you get by but get ahead. And on all those things, Mike Bloomberg intends to make good."

Wealthy pay their “fair share?”
The top 1% earn 19% of the country’s income yet pay 38% - 40% of the income taxes. They are already paying double their so-called “fair share.”

"And, in my version of the "Green New Deal", all Americans will now have to drink from smaller bottles and cans."
(This is much more efficient, since you can recycle these bottles and cans a thousand at a time, so you don't have to recycle nearly as often!)

Well, he’s not too far off with that one.
Just wait until more people find out one of Bloomberg’s causes was getting rid of 32 o.z. soda cups.
LOL - Democrats, the soda pop Nazis!

So this means the three top Dem candidates for President are all older than Trump, all male and one is five times richer than Trump, and the other two have not held a job or met a payroll in private industry for more than the last 30 years.
Now watch how all the so called woke young Dems, gender warriors and feminists shut up and fall in line. In the end, regardless of what they say, it is all about power.
So entertaining.

"but then Bloomberg may get the nod"Bloomberg vs Dimon, & Bloomie gets the nod? Hmmm, I can't see them going with the former "R" and going with the softer spoken unknown, The Mayor has too much baggage...

From your lips to God’s ears. But never say never. Bloomberg is a formidable personality who has shown he understands politics and how to win elections. Others have spent large sums and lost. He spent large sums and won not once but three times. 3 for 3 in politics is a pretty good record, especially when your opponent’s party tends to win 2/3 of the vote. De Blasio, the communist Democrat non-entity who succeeded term-limited Bloomberg, won 72% of the vote.
