A new Quinnipiac poll shows that Pete Buttigieg is polling terribly with black voters in South Carolina even worse than Marianne Williamson.
The Quinnipiac poll released on Monday shows frontrunner Joe Biden with a commanding lead among South Carolina voters, with 33% percent of respondents saying they would likely support him. The two closest candidates to Biden are Sens. Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren, who are polling at 11% and 13% respectively
Buttigieg has 6% among all likely voters in the poll, just ahead of billionaire Tom Steyer who sits at 5%.
Breaking down the responses by race and gender paints a more bleak picture for Buttigieg among the key voting bloc of black South Carolinians. In that demographic, the South Bend, IN mayor is polling at 0%.
Among black voters in South Carolina, Buttigieg is performing worse than Williamson, Andrew Yang and former Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick who only announced his candidacy last week and still managed to garner support among 1% of black voters in the state.
Among the frontrunners, 44% percent of black voters support Biden, 10% support Sanders and 8% support Warren.
Just two days ago, a CNN/Des Moines Register Poll in Iowa showed Buttigieg with 25% of likely caucus-goers saying hes their top choice while the poll also showed Biden, Warren and Sanders in a virtual tie for second place.
The Quinnipiac poll surveyed 768 likely South Carolina Democratic primary voters with a margin of error of 4.8 percentage points.
Powder Puff Pete couldn’t win statewide in IN... the idea some folks have that he is some great white hope for the Dems than can help him restore their “blue wall” is comical.
He won’t be the nominee....
No one has been the D nominee without winning the black primary vote... no one, since 1976 when they started tracking it.. right now that someone is Biden, as long as he is in the race, and the black primary voters keep sticking with him, he is going to be their nominee...
This is why, I believe, that entire #SEINFELDIMPEACHMENT is going on, not to take out TRUMP but to take out BIDEN.
That any from South Carolina would vote for Biden doesn't speak much for their intelligence.
(Written from Delaware)
If hes the nominee, a lot of blacks will vote for Trump or stay home.
And hell lose the evangelicals. Democrats should still nominate Buttigieg because he ticks all the right boxes.
All other silliness aside, I want to meet the 5% of black South Carolinianians who are planning to vote for Tom Steyer. I want to know what positions of his they agree with and what in his background makes them support him for the nomination. I've got $100 that says none of them even know who he is and selected his name totally at random from the options presented.
The Buttigieg Panic at the Disco! Dance is the gayest thing I’ve ever seen in politics.
His sexual perverted preference has nothing to do with my opinion of him. It is his commie views and condescending “Christian values” that piss me off. It doesn’t matter if he wins or loses the nomination, which I’m confident that it ain’t gonna happen,he’s still got a first class one way ticket to hell.
Maybe this twisted jerk could catch a clue if he recognized that hes a phony and a faggot.
Blacks dont go for dudes on the down low.
Blacks don’t like fags.
I caught that.
Sometimes I think the mods day jobs are with the DNC.
Wel... you could stop your shouting too.
Pete is queer...... that’s all
He is showing the rainbow flag, no more, no less
So - does this mean that a higher percentage of the black vote than is normally recorded for Republicans, would be pulling the lever for Trump, and a large number would just be either sitting home on their hands, or voting only on the rest of the ballot?
Mayor Pete is in SO much trouble.
Normal people resist faggotry.
I’m shocked.
