Bolton suggests some of Trump's foreign policy decisions are guided by personal interest
NBC Fake News ^ | 11/12/2019 | Alex Wong

Former national security adviser John Bolton derided President Donald Trump’s daughter and son-in-law during a private speech last week and suggested his former boss’ approach to U.S. policy on Turkey is motivated by personal or financial interests, several people who were present for the remarks told NBC News.

According to six people who were there, Bolton also questioned the merits of Trump applying his business acumen to foreign policy, saying such issues can’t be approached like the win-or-lose edict that drives real estate deals: When one deal doesn’t work, you move on to the next.

The description was part of a broader portrait Bolton outlined of a president who lacks an understanding of the interconnected nature of relationships in foreign policy and the need for consistency, these people said.

Potential for Fake News and a lot of editorializing by NBC here, but still, a portrait is emerging of Bolton as a huge POS.

Bolton is just mad because President Trump didn’t let him start another endless war.

So if Pres. Trump is doing all of this out of self interest, why is he donating his paycheck? Why did he self finance his campaign? I understand his businesses have lost millions since he took office. If money is his motivation, he would do well to resign and look after his financial affairs. This is stupid!

So according to Bolton we should continue as “business as usual”. Sure, because that worked out so well. /sarc

Sure looks like fake news. Not Bolton’s style. AND....if he felt that way, he would have quit and/or not taken the job. He knew Trump long before he became President.

President Trump is the opposite of the other 44 residents of the White House.

Moving into the White House was a DOWNGRADE for him.

He came in very rich and will lose millions doing the job.

Trump hired a guy who didn’t agree with him on policy with another predictable end result. He’s one in a long line. All he had to do was hire people who aligned with his platform and so much trouble he has had could have been avoided.

Dear Mr. Bolton, from someone who has tried to defend you several times...

it would help if you didn’t descend into the moral cesspool of making false or unsubstantiated allegations or innuendos.

name just one significant public policy decision of PDJT that he took for his personal benefit, show us the evidence and we will listen to you!

otherwise, zip your mouth, please
thanks

The whole concept of Trump running for the Presidency, and financing it himself, so that he could ‘serve his self interests’ is absurd. If he had not run, and gave money to Hillary and the Clinton Foundation, he would be getting awards from Hollywood and would be regularly invited to the White House. But he knew that wasn’t good for the country. If anything, his lifestyle and business have been hurt by becoming President.

The reality is that the establishment politicians and bureaucracy have no respect for the citizens of America, and their attitudes are much closer to those of King George than of George Washington or Thomas Jefferson.

... saying such issues can’t be approached like the win-or-lose edict that drives real estate deals: When one deal doesn’t work, you move on to the next.

War-mongering globalists like Bolton can't stand a "real estate deal" approach to these issues because the whole purpose of their globalist approach in any given country is to ensure that no deal ever gets done and the U.S. has to fight a war there forever.

Think I will wait until Bolton testifies before assuming anything out of the fake news is real.

Or at least have a video not. Someone quoting anonymous sources even if they put the number 6 in front of it.

Why not a little self interest concern shown over the corrupt Ukraine Dems? Here is another example where a self-described Republican can’t wait to jump all over Trump while there’s a huge Democrat gorilla in the room. Bolton is a never-Trump hypocrite.
